Extremely disappointed and concerned with the lack of professionalism and communication from Live Oak Bank. After an initial Zoom consultation for an SBA loan for a franchise dog daycare and boarding business, I was instructed to submit highly sensitive information to move the process forward. I provided my complete personal financial info, detailed business plan, and full financial projections. Since submitting those documents at the beginning of May, communication has been non-existent. My loan officer went completely dark. I have attempted multiple follow-ups, only to be met with total silence. While I understand that loan vetting takes time and not every project is a perfect fit, going completely radio silent after collecting someone's private, sensitive financial data is reckless and unprofessional. If a bank does not want to move forward with a project, they owe the applicant a prompt, definitive "no" rather than ghosting them. Borrowers rely on clear timelines for their business planning. Be very cautious about handing over your confidential business details to this team if you expect basic communication or mutual respect. I have since been approved by a local bank in a very timely manner.

My email was hacked and they were able to steel money from my other bank. I stopped by LOB and they were very detailed and helped me secure my accounts with them without the fear of money being stolen. I really enjoy the security of my money being with LOB.
