Payed for Standard instead of "Basic with commercial" and still get commercials in live events and sport. That is written with small letters below when you sign up instead of the big white boxes telling you what you get.
No reason to make your customers feel cheated, instead of setting the right expectations upfront.

I pay for premium and sport and get bombarded with commerials. Bad bad bad. I will find other ways to see tennis.

Terrible service. Extremely disappointed with direct wire connection to my smart TV and 250 fibre connection the live spots stream is freezing every minute. Same on my IPhone and all other devices I have. I have submitted only to see live spots and that is extremely frustrating. How can I get my money back? Checked all options updated all my devices cleared cache all that crap that they are recommending and still notifying changes. !!!! Scammers!!!!

Max got hacked recently and after that I am unable to get signed in. Very bad and worst experience.

My HBO Max account was hacked two days ago, and since then I’ve been completely locked out. The hacker changed the email linked to my account to a suspicious address.

I’ve tried contacting HBO Max support multiple times through their website, but I haven’t received any response. I’ve also tried reaching out through social media with no success. I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of urgency and customer care. It’s unacceptable to be ignored when your personal data and paid subscription are compromised.

All I want is to recover access to my account and secure it again. Please take this seriously and resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Terrible experience with this service. I signed up because they promised a smooth streaming experience, but it has been nothing but frustrating. Constant buffering, even with a strong internet connection. On top of that, they keep increasing the subscription price without notice. I was charged for a yearly plan I never agreed to, and when I contacted customer service, they were completely unhelpful and dismissive.
Honestly, I regret ever signing up. I managed to fix the mess they created on my account thanks to the company in my profile picture. If you are thinking of joining, I strongly suggest you stay away.

if you have the money for no ads great, if not very bad, 90 seconds EVERY FIVE MINUTES, therfore I'm out.

I received an email that my subscription would renew for $39.99 for yearly plan with no ads. I was transferred from boomerang. I was told be charged 12/30. I switched payment methods to paypal and by January 2nd they say i need to purchase the $169.00 package for yearly now. Not cool I have email proof saying the charge would be $39.99. Hopefully they will fix this soon and correct my account!

MAX is a bad name for your streaming service HBO was much better. you even call your series and movies (HBO original)

if you go max.com on all EU countries you will not be able to stream or watch ...creating account is ok...
even Worner brothers discovery+``payment refusal!`` and the customer care blames its from my bank and its not i have 3 cards for 3 defferant banks icl revolute dont work, by using ither vpn or others means .... even i trying to buy the subscription using the amazon prime says you have to have a phisical UK BANK!!! what???!!!!!..if the service will be available to Malta o ither D+ then this review will be changed otherwise *****thumbs down!!!!! congrats

Zero!!! I bought an HBO MAX subscription last autumn, in October, to be more precise. Everything had been great until they changed the name and the app. Since they have done that, I can't even open that app on my TV!!! The TV becomes choppy and laggy, and this only happens when I try to use MAX. SCAMMERS!

I just bought Premium plan to watch Olympics 2024. BUT! Video quality is barely 1080p, not even close to 4K! More of that, I see a lot of ads before transmission, but Premium plan should be without ads.

Really crappy deal compared to HBOMax! Now we have been downgraded to crappy, outdated FullHD and poor sound quality. Discovery+ is not something I would ever watch.
Bogus “upgrade” and noone even mentioning the video/sound quality decrease when switching. Including partners like Telmore, who made it sound ohh so wonderful, without even raising the price!
Keep it up, and we’ll all leave! Really, really annoying…
