LOAN CANCELED BUT STILL DISBURSED!!
I canceled my load, but it was still disbursed. It's been a week since I asked my school to return these funds, and I received confirmation that they have returned them, but this change hasn't been reflected on the MPOWER portal.

Best platform and services
For me, applying for mPower student loan was a very smooth process. I really love first of all how their platform is easy to navigate, and second they reply very quickly, within just 1 week, I had already gotten my visa support letter which I used to apply my US visa. I just started started school, haven't yet been issued tuition fees or living expenses yet, but I can easily see the dates when they will be disbursed on the platform. Everything is easy to navigate, and also, when I had questions, I wrote to them and they replied in a day or two. I am totally happy with the services, and really appreciate MPOWER for the great work that they do to help students reach their dreams.

They Funded My First Year, Then Left Me Stranded
They gave me a loan for my first year of studies and also promised future disbursements if I kept up with my payments and everything. I planned my life around that. I did not care about the high interest rates, as I believed they would give me loans for consecutive terms and I could finish my studies, but they stopped giving loans to Canadian students. Blaming the US government for that is such BS. They gave me a loan for my first year, and now they do not care if I can finish my second year of studies. Fraud company that just wants students under their belt so they can earn off interest.
