Disgraceful practices and treatment
Same as everyone here, got trapped into the subscription after the trial. After I tested the garbage product, I looked everywhere to find where to cancel my subscription and eventually did - but never received a confirmation of my cancellation. Yesterday I got charged 74€. I went back to my account and saw that my subscription was active and could not even reach the "Payment Settings" page to remove my card.
The support email sends me to the chatbot, and the chatbot sends me to the support email. Absolutely disgraceful practices and treatment. I don't even know how they are allowed to continue to operate. Absolute scam.
Extremely difficult to cancel or get a refund
I deleted my account last month, yet Mureka still charged me $27 for another month. Their support then directed me to sections of the website that require me to log in. Other cancellation and support links also lead to pages requiring an account.
Since my account has already been deleted, I cannot access any of these options. This leaves me unable to manage the subscription that Mureka apparently kept active after deleting the account itself.
The entire process feels deliberately designed to make cancellation and refunds as difficult as possible
Hidden cancellation process, no confirmation, very poor subscription transparency
I tried Mureka and quickly decided I did not want to continue. My main issue is not only the product, but the subscription and cancellation experience.
The cancellation option was unnecessarily difficult to find. After I cancelled, I received no clear cancellation confirmation from Mureka. I also could not find any clear place in my account showing that the subscription had actually been cancelled. Even worse, the option to manage the subscription seemed to disappear after cancellation, leaving me with no visible proof inside the website.
I contacted support asking for written confirmation that my subscription was cancelled and that no further payments would be taken. Instead of confirming anything, they sent a generic reply telling me to visit the website and use the feedback or FAQ section. That is not proper support for a billing issue.
Luckily I paid through PayPal, so I also cancelled the automatic payment agreement there. I strongly recommend others do the same if they test this service. Do not rely only on the Mureka website.
After this happened, I checked other reviews and was disturbed to see how many people describe very similar problems with cancellation, billing, refunds, and lack of support. This does not look like one isolated bad experience. It looks like a clear pattern.
A paid service should make subscription status, cancellation status, renewal date, and billing status completely clear. In my experience, Mureka does not do that. This feels like a dark-pattern subscription setup, and people should be very careful before starting a trial or paid plan.
No option to cancel the Trial
If you take the Trial they force you to pay, no way to cancel the subscription.
Be careful with Mureka subscriptions
Be careful with Mureka subscriptions. I was charged $86 and $121.25 on consecutive days after believing my subscription was canceled. My refund request was denied. Check your auto-renewal settings and keep screenshots of everything. I’ll update if this gets resolved.
No contact info to unsubscribe
Creating music works just okay with a very limited amount of what sounds like gay black men voices no matter what you tell it to use.
But what really matters is you cannot get a hold of these people only chat and where it says to unsubscribe it's not there. I use Paypal that way I can cancel the auto pay in Paypal.
It's always been since the internet started that if you cannot contact anyone they are a extremely bad company. That's these guys.
Impossible to cancel your subscription
Impossible to cancel your subscription. It is a pur scam. Dont ever give your credit card numbers to these thieves, i garantee you will regret. They say "cancel anytime"but there is no unsuscribe button anywhere to be found. Complete and utter swindle
Difficult to cancel
Difficult to cancel. The button to cancel your subscription is buried so deep you pretty much have to spend half an hour randomly clicking around the app to find it.
Garbage service
Garbage service. Terrible music, but most importantly, they provide no cancellation support. Pure scam, I hadn't even meant to sign up for it but Google served me their ad when I searched for a different service, and I hadn't noticed before I started up. Google should not allow them to buy ads.
Very disappointing!
It's somewhat disappointing for the O2 flagship model.
With too many tracks in a song, the song becomes crowded, there's clearly frequency overlap... Add a sidechain compressor to the next model Mureka O3... Similarly, the kick drums penetrates the ear and is not designed for listening through headphones... The O2 is a flagship model, expensive at $27 a month, and doesn't do the job... Every time I produce a good song, I find frequency jamming and no sidechain compression.
What's the point of a song with crowded frequencies? I want art, not the noise pollution I hear in the street every day.
Subscription Trap
Subscription Trap! I signed up for a $1 trial for 1 week and they automatically charged me for a full annual plan without clear notice or an easy way to cancel. The only thing I received was a PDF invoice. I have not used any credits and I demand a full refund immediately under EU consumer laws.
For now the only problem I am having is…
For now the only problem I am having is not being able to cancel my credit card. I keep getting reply that I have to submit a feedback to cancel my credit card. I am a slave under these people/AI. The only way I have now is go to my back and cancel my credit, which will create another problem for my daily activity. Do not join this site even if it is appealing.
1 only because I can't put a negative

Watch out people !!! Mureka is a scam . They charged my credit card 12 times x 75 euros per time for a free trial of 1 euro for 3 days . Don’t make an account with those scammers
Impossible to get a refund.
Impossible to get a refund.
Even if you cancel the auto-subscription, they charge you anyway. $207 USD for the annual subscription.
I filed a dispute with PayPal and my bank, to be followed up...

Title: Extremely poor cancellation process and misleading trial experience
Title: Extremely poor cancellation process and misleading trial experience
I strongly advise users to be very careful before starting a Mureka trial.
I signed up for the $1 trial to test the product. My goal was to see whether Mureka could be useful for serious techno production, especially more reduced, underground and Detroit-inspired techno. Unfortunately, the tool did not meet my expectations. The results repeatedly moved into a more melodic, modern and commercial direction, even when I clearly asked the system to reduce or remove melodies. As a producer with many years of experience, this was not usable for my workflow.
However, the much bigger issue was the subscription and cancellation process.
When I tried to cancel inside the Mureka web app, the cancellation process repeatedly failed. I received error messages such as “Subscription could not be cancelled. Please try again later” and “You are doing this too often. Please try again later.” In other words, the cancellation option was technically present, but it did not actually work for me.
After checking PayPal, I found active subscription authorisations under SKYWORK AI PTE. LTD. / @ (email, check the website) These included yearly follow-up payments after the trial period. I had to cancel the PayPal subscription authorisations directly inside PayPal to prevent further charges.
In my opinion, this is an unacceptable customer experience. A trial subscription must be transparent, easy to understand and easy to cancel. Users should not have to dig through PayPal subscription profiles to protect themselves from future charges, especially when the cancellation process on the provider’s own website fails.
Take care of you
My advice to anyone who used PayPal:
Go to PayPal immediately.
Check automatic payments / subscription payments.
Search for SKYWORK AI PTE. LTD., Mureka or @ (check the mail, it's not possible to write it down here)
Cancel every active subscription authorisation.
Take screenshots before and after cancellation.
This review is based on my own experience, PayPal records and screenshots of the failed cancellation process.
For me, Mureka was not only disappointing as a music production tool, but also deeply concerning because of the subscription handling. I cannot recommend this service.
terrible site to generate your music
terrible site to generate your music. Can never get it right. Suno is much better at generating what you want than Mureka. Much better!
HORRIBLE!!
HORRIBLE!!! I have no subscribtion on it, contacted support, which shows mail invalid. dont ever make any subscribtion there!
This is a scam
They will charge your card for a full year and refuse to refund, stating you used gold from that subscription. I have not, and I provided evidence. They just topped responding. Customer care is non-existent.
Scam company.
Been using for a couple of months
Been using for a couple of months. Pros: Very fun to load my own lyrics and produce a song with instruments and even backup harmonics. It takes many "takes" to come up with a track that is error free and that eats into the advertised 500 songs per month advertised for "pro" level payment. Easy to download the resulting track with acceptable audio quality for my purposes. Cons: Tricked into a year's payment when clicking monthly; AI can't read English dependable, dropping letters or subing words; AI does not follow the "style" instructions especially when asking it NOT to do something such as not inserting a gospel choir or female singers that is seems to like; it lists "styles" in a menu that requires constant scrolling rather than a list to choose from; minor errors in an otherwise good track can't be corrected as it just tries again, erasing everything and starting over. AND it said I had burned all my "gold" when I had not come close and absolutely no reaction or communication from them to correct - or anything else.
