A huge shout-out to Optery and their whole team! Your service is amazing: fast, professional, and thorough.
I also want to acknowledge Optery for expanding services to South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand on 18 March 2026. Before they launched here, we knew our data was being sold, but we had no reliable company to help us remove it.
If you haven't tried Optery yet, give them a shot. Highly recommended! I joined in April 2026, a month after the SA launch, and I haven't looked back. Try a free scan to see how many data brokers hold your personal information, then join and get your data removed.

Since joining Optery, my robo calls have stopped. I ws getting six to ten a day, every day. Once subscribed, they have stopped. Been over six months. Money well spent. The amount of web sites that listed my personal information was totally unknown to me. Wow, there's a lot of companies that buy your information. Have even used their report marketers service to report the few companies that got through their scans. Best money I ever spent, just for a silent phone.

The absolute best. I had used others who have nowhere near the clout Optety has and thus was not expecting the great results. I was exposed everywhere and now I’m not. They are worth every penny.

The support staff were in constant contact with me with assistance for cancelling my subscription to their service. Not that there is anything wrong with the service, it just wasn’t for me. The support was great and much appreciated

horrible experience with the website
horrible experience. after a year of ok service I got a notice that it would auto-renew. I did not want to do that. The links provided in the email did not work. I attempted to sign on to the website and was confronted with one of those GD gotcha screens with tiny blurry pictures that as a 78 year old I could not read nor enlarge. I am enraged by those and cancel any organization that uses them. I cant cancel my account because I cant sign into it. I tried resetting the password twice and both times it times out in less than 30 seconds, something I have never seen before. Customer service is only by email. We'll see if they will cancel it. Frankly the results they provided, about 50%, are not worth the hassle.

We send the auto-renewal reminders so customers have a heads-up and the chance to make changes before being billed. The image verification step (CAPTCHA) is intended to protect accounts from unauthorized access. We understand that it adds friction and certainly don't want it to feel like a barrier.

Optery is thorough and methodical
Optery is very thorough, going state-by-state to remove your information where you might not have thought to look. I would have kept the plan if I could have afforded it. I can't right now, but I do recommend it for people who wish to guard their privacy, especially their physical location. They are methodical, and that helps me to feel a little bit safer in this world.

Even the $3.99 month option was very effective. Within one month's time so much of my information was removed. When I Google search for my name, the results are much cleaner and only show what I don't mind being public.

They helped me during a difficult time
This company really helped me when I was being harassed by someone online, they had found all of my previous addresses and were able to get ahold of my Mother and Fathers phone numbers including mine aswell, I cant speak on their customer service as I never had to contact anyone in support but the subscription really gave me peace of mind while that whole ordeal was going on, I would honestly reccomend this service

I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but I am absolutely hopping mad.
I signed up for [Optery], and they managed to remove my personal information from 400+ data broker sites.
What makes me angry is what happened afterward.
Once they removed me, I realized my spam dropped to almost nothing. I used to get absolutely mail-bombed with spam emails. It was so bad that I had to move my domain to [Fastmail) just to have any hope of controlling my inbox.
Now it’s obvious what was happening: bots, spammers, and other automated systems were pulling my information directly from the data broker databases that Optery removed me from.
Even my spam calls finally started going down.
I am furious that I found this out so late. I’ve been dealing with endless spam calls and email bombardment for years, and all this time my personal data was just sitting out there, feeding these systems.
It takes a while to get off those 400+ data broker sites but be patient, it is worth the wait!!!!!

I used Optery to check whether my personal information was available online. Before using the service, I searched for my name on Google and could not find any results containing my personal information.
After running an Optery scan, the service reported only one result on Bing related to my name. Since there was only a single result, I cancelled my subscription.
Exactly one week later, I searched my name on Google again. This time, my name, email address, phone number, employer, and job title all appeared on the first page of search results. I have never publicly shared that information myself.
It's a scam that'll exploit you to hook you on a subscription forever.

If your life is on the line lower your expectations
Had it for almost a year now and it can't seem to finish the job.
Dont expect much if your life is in danger!
For several years now these companies have existed and the entire industry is one big scam.
The laws in California make it to where your private information is available again a year after meaning that you have to pay a subscription service to have privacy.
God forbid you have a stalker or somebody trying to kidnap your kid or if you have somebody in another country looking up your public records with a simple search and deciding to steal your parents retirement.
The sites even make extrapolations that people that lived in your house 10 years before you were there or somehow your sibling.
Let's not pretend that internet services are hard work.
They are initially and then they have difficulties as they arrive but the majority of it is automated.
10 months in and still a lot of sites have no results.
It really does seem like they draw out the process especially during the first three to six months in order to milk you for more money while making it look like they're doing something.
With as much heinous criminal activity and mental illness in the world today it is unacceptable how long this process takes.
The fact that my life wasn't taken while waiting for them to get their crap together is a miracle.
