Ticket #260701-009704 worst service ever

Ticket #260701-009704

One of my clients made a payment on 24 June 2026.

Following the payment, I was asked to provide several documents, including the invoice, contract, and all correspondence with the customer. I supplied everything that was requested promptly.

I was then informed that the review would take 3–4 working days. After a week had passed with no update, I emailed to ask why the payment status was still showing as pending. Two days later, I received a response stating that the case was “currently in process” and with the relevant team.

Another week passed without any progress. When I followed up again, I was told that an additional review was required and that it would take a further 3–4 working days. By that point, more than 16–17 days had already passed since the payment.

I respected the revised timeframe and waited. However, since 8 July, I have been emailing daily, and I have not received a single response. My emails are being completely ignored despite my providing every document and piece of information requested.

This has been an extremely disappointing experience. The lack of communication, repeated delays, and complete absence of support are unacceptable. Based on my experience, this is one of the worst services I have ever used.

I have had the unfortunate experience…

I have had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with this company for the last 10 years due to one of my Int’l businesses paying out their commission into the account. The system is not user friendly at all. The amount of times that it has blocked me out of my account and when trying to create a new password it somehow does not work on the mobile app and it’s a loop of never-ending 2 FA to an app that won’t login so you end up being locked out of your account for months on end.

So far the customer service have not given me a reliable response to this or being able to fix it. The amount of bugs in the System are stacked against the end user. Because they require you to change your password so often this issue happens almost every time and you end up spending hours trying to resolve it with customer service resetting your password but even that’s not working this time.

I’ve had enough of dealing with this company. I’ve spent so many hours trying to resolve. Over it !

My account is locked for more than a month, I can’t use my money. Now they want me to give them some site URL with my information. It’s some next level of stupidity, what site URL you want for personal account?! I stressed this multiple times to support but they’re completely incompetent.

1-Star Review – Completely Unreliable – Ruined My Business Cash Flow
I have been a verified Payoneer user for over 1.5 years and received regular monthly payments from my client without any problems.
This month, Payoneer has now declined and cancelled my second payment in a row. The transaction shows as "Canceled" in my account even though my client confirmed the funds were deducted from their side and provided the reference number.
No explanation, no email notification, no pending verification requests — nothing. I have contacted support multiple times with full details and still received zero help or resolution.
Payoneer used to be okay but their service has become totally unreliable. They block legitimate payments with no warning or transparency, which is extremely damaging for small businesses that depend on timely funds.
I will be closing my account permanently and strongly advise others to avoid this platform if you value reliable service. Worst experience.

Account closed after passing every verification step except for the last one, no real explanation given

I applied for a Payoneer account to receive payments for my Etsy shop. I successfully completed identity verification (passport), phone verification, and my tax information was confirmed automatically. The only outstanding step was address verification.

My first address document (utility bills) was rejected because it wasn't in English. My second document (a bank certificate) was rejected because it listed the street but not the city. Shortly after, without any further request for documents, my account was suspended with a generic message stating that "certain activities on your account do not align with our Terms and Conditions and Prohibited Transactions list" and that I "cannot use Payoneer's services anymore."

I want to note that no transactions were ever conducted on this account. It was closed while I was still in the verification stage, before I had received or sent any payments. This makes the reference to "activities that do not align with the Terms and Conditions" especially confusing, since there was no actual activity on the account to review.

I contacted support multiple times asking which specific activity or clause this referred to, since my business (an Etsy shop selling handmade designs) is not a prohibited category. I never received a specific answer. I was told the decision was "finalized by the appropriate team" and was advised to find an alternative payment provider.

This looks less like a genuine compliance issue and more like an account closed due to an unresolved address verification problem, with a boilerplate compliance message used to close the case without further discussion. For a company that is required as the only supported payout option for Etsy sellers in some countries, this lack of transparency and unwillingness to specify an actual reason is a serious problem.

I would like Payoneer to review this case properly and provide a specific, documented reason for the closure, or reopen the address verification step given that I now have a compliant document ready to submit, or, alternatively, fully close this account and allow me to reapply for a new account with the compliant documents I now have ready.

Account closed due to session timeout during verification (Customer ID: 72556906

Subject:Account closed due to session timeout during routine verification (Customer ID: 72556906)

I am publishing this complaint to address an absurd automated account closure caused by a minor technical misunderstanding during identity verification.
What actually happened:
1. In late May 2026, I received a notification via my linked Etsy account regarding a routine identity re-verification for my Payoneer account.
2. I clicked the link and initiated the process, but when the system requested a selfie with my ID, I realized I did not have my physical passport with me at that exact moment.
3. I closed the verification window, intending to complete it later when I had my document ready.
4. Instead of leaving the task pending, Payoneer's automated compliance system interpreted the incomplete session as a verification failure and permanently closed my account on May 29, 2026.
5. Consequently, my linked Etsy store was also restricted due to the sudden closure of my payment provider.

Support Incompetence:
I repeatedly tried to resolve this through Customer Support and Facebook (Tickets: 260604-003474, 260707-011952, 260715-024739). Instead of letting me re-upload my ID, I received unhelpful copy-pasted bot replies. One representative ("Tanya") even confused Etsy with eBay! Finally, "Anastasia" closed the case claiming "undisclosed reasons."
I did not violate any Terms of Service. My account was closed simply because I didn't have my passport on hand for 5 minutes and closed a browser tab.
I demand a manual review by a Senior Compliance Manager for my account to re-enable my identity verification module so I can submit my documents properly.

I have been trying to resolve an issue with my Payoneer account for the past two months. Despite contacting customer support multiple times and receiving promises that the issue would be resolved within 24 hours, 48 hours, or 7 days, nothing has been done yet. This service is extremely disappointing, and there is absolutely no response or accountability. I demand that my issue be taken seriously and resolved immediately."

Bad experience! This platform is not transparent and don't ever put any of your money with them because if you do you will lose it to them. I have learned my lesson the hard way. Only #Crop# Mines# has proven to be exceptional in their service and remit payment on time without any problem.

I am extremely disappointed with Payoneer. Back on July 9th, I received an official notification that my account was approved and ready to use. In reality, the account remains completely inactive. For two weeks, support agents have been sending standard copy-paste emails about "manual reviews," but nobody has solved the issue since July 9th. If you value your business, look for alternatives.

They took my money

They blocked my account for violation of terms and I strictly followed their rules, but thats not enough, they didn't not send me an email regarding my account blockade, they just took my money and there no roadmap of returning or withdrawal of my amount, terrible company, it feels good at first, until they freeze your money. Please don't use Payoneer if you love your money.

Worst company of its kind

These guys make it so hard for people to enable their accounts just so that they can receive the money owed through them.
This account is forced on people by ebay, and they essentially hold your money hostage unless they complete stupid tasks.
Not even my banks have ever been this annoying.
I provided everything they asked for so I can withdraw MY money, and they still ask for more.
I gave them a picture with a VERY CLEARLY visible date, and yet they tell me that it's not readable.
The entire system is EXTREMELY frustrating and I can't stress that enough.
Never have I seen a system designed to frustrate the hell out of their customers.
Not paypal, not Wise, not any bank I've ever dealt with in my life, just this one, payoneer.
It's no wonder the only way they're getting any customers is by forcing the "service" down the throat of ebay users. Because otherwise they wouldn't get a damn soul.

Almost a month with my Payoneer account…

Almost a month with my Payoneer account stuck in “under review” — even after receiving a formal rejection notice. I’ve submitted a formal complaint (Ref 260630-007678) that’s supposed to get a response within 15 business days per Payoneer’s own Complaints Policy, but I keep getting generic replies. This is directly blocking my Etsy shop from operating. Can someone from the escalations team actually look into this?

A Terrible Experience Before Even Becoming a Customer

1 Star – A Terrible Experience Before Even Becoming a Customer

My experience with Payoneer has been an absolute nightmare, and it happened before I even had the chance to use their service.

I applied for a business account for my registered company. I carefully completed every step of the application, provided all the requested information, and uploaded every document they asked for. Two days later, I received an email stating that my application had been approved.

Naturally, I logged into my account expecting everything to be ready. To my surprise, the account still showed "Application Under Review." The approval email and the actual account status completely contradicted each other.

I contacted customer support several times, hoping someone would explain what was happening. Instead, I received vague, generic responses that never answered my questions. No one could tell me whether my account was approved, what was missing, or what additional action I needed to take. Every reply felt like a scripted template rather than genuine customer support.

The most shocking part was being told to simply wait up to one month for an update—with no guarantee that I would even receive one. How can a financial company approve an application by email while simultaneously keeping it under review in the dashboard, then expect customers to wait another month without any explanation?

Judging by the large number of similar complaints from other users, my experience is far from unique. Many people report extremely slow verification, contradictory information, and customer support that provides copy-and-paste responses instead of resolving issues. That doesn't inspire confidence in a company that's supposed to handle business finances.

If this is how Payoneer treats potential customers before they even start using the platform, I can't imagine how existing customers are treated when they have a serious issue.

I cannot recommend Payoneer to any business looking for a reliable financial partner. There are far better alternatives that value their customers' time and communicate transparently.
