Bought a new Pfaff 715 quilting machine which worked brilliantly for 2 months. Then it would not switch on at all. After waiting 2 weeks the machine went back for an engineer to check over. I was told that as it was a new machine pfaff wanted to have it sent back to the factory and I would be given a new machine which was currently out of stock. Now a month later still no machine and no idea when I may get a replacement. I am aware of another case the same as mine. Very annoying as I was making Xmas presents and now Xmas is here and all I have are lots of thread and material. Not very good experience from a £2750 purchase.

After paying £650 for a pfaff Quilt ambition 630 machine, it lasted 5 years before developing an issue where it constantly told me to lower the presser foot and stopped despite the foot already being lowered. I wasn't able to work out how to contact Pfaff. Local repairer not able to repair without sending to Pfaff at a cost of £200. I expected the machine to last longer than 5 years. Will never buy one again as it seems when something goes wrong there is no support.
