Absolutely useless. They took a week to send the wrong product. I had to waste my time returning the items. Then another week after they received the return. They tell me that they don’t actually stock the item. Still waiting for my refund.

I recently purchased an Evolution R255TBL+ table saw from Power Tool World. Unfortunately, when the saw arrived, I discovered that the rip fence had been damaged during transit.

I contacted Power Tool World and was assisted by Dan from customer service. The response was quick, professional, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. They contacted Evolution on my behalf, arranged for a replacement rip fence to be sent, and kept me informed every step of the way.

The replacement part arrived within a few days and was in perfect condition. I was especially impressed that they resolved the issue without requiring me to return the entire table saw, which would have been very inconvenient due to its size and weight.

Mistakes and shipping damage can happen with any company, but what really matters is how those situations are handled. In this case, both Power Tool World and Evolution provided excellent customer service and resolved the issue quickly and professionally.

I am very happy with my purchase and will definitely be buying from Power Tool World again in the future.

I never received my order, DPD failed to deliver because their driver refused to even attempt delivery then the order was returned to sender by DPD where in was told I'd have to WAIT for a refund despite having never received my goods.

£400 order, took three days to dispatch then another two to be told it won't be delivered.

ZERO REFUND NEARLY TWO WEEKS LATER.

Utter joke of a company have also ignored my emails for over a week.

One of the cheapest places around, often with good deals, however office staff have a bit of a chip and are not always help-full, this is made worse by this new delivery pin, which PTW claims is DPD policy for anything over £200, but DPD claim PTW requested. People who work from home this wont affect, but anyone who (like myself) works on sites and sometimes in poor reception area will find a nightmare, a pin is sent via text message to your phone around an hour before delivery, this must be given to the driver before he can deliver, so impossible to leave with someone at the workshop for the driver, and if you are out of reception, or on a restricted site, impossible to receive, after 2 attempted deliveries, it will be returned to PTW and you will be charged a restocking fee. I appreciate high value packages need a fool proof way of being delivered, but this simply doesn't work for me.

The website was easy to view and search for the makita I required.
The website also suggested products to complement and add to the purchase i made.
The makita was also very well priced and delivery was very quick

The web site gives full and clear information on the tools on offer, ordering is very easy. Delivery was very quick (ordered on a Sunday and arrived the next day) as well as trouble free with tracking available in good time. The courier is DPD who in my experience offers the best service with a 1 hour delivery window that is trustworthy. Prices are very competitive as well. Very highly recommended.

We bought a chainsaw from them, it arrived on time, on plugging in the battery to charge a dreadful smell came out of the machine and the unit got extremely hot. It was then a nightmare trying to return the item to them and get the money back from them. After an initial good response, they stopped communicating and we still have not got our money back. I would never use them again.

Great price for items purchased but didn’t deliver next day. Website says order by 7 pm for next day delivery so my order was accepted for 6.31pm so I expected next day delivery. Unfortunately although I got a message to say it had been shipped the next morning it was actually still sitting in their yard awaiting collection by DPD. I guess the person that picks the items fancied an early night!

Pay for Saturday delivery DPD cant deliver then they still tip even though you told them to cancel! Then make you pay to return the item !!! AVOID

Good price, speedy delivery, what’s not to like !

I agree they have good prices for items they claim are in stock. Briefly after 4 days my orders were still not delivered, Firtlstly one was delayed and held in the depot then the next time it was apparently damaged and was being returned although no one mentioned this to me waiting days for nothing. The other item was being delivered within an hour window then despite being in and waiting I got a message from the courier sorry they missed me. I have video evidence of no attempt being made and the supllied proof was of a car outside a bay window which we do not have any examples of in my road. The worst bit is the pathetic service from this company. They wont replace the goods I have never received or refund the money untill they get the goods back which they cant tell you when this will be. This is their courier with their goods that never reached me and I have to wait for my money back when its all their issues. Save yourself hassle and bypass this company not worth it for a few quid saved.

I have used Power Tool World in the past and have found them to be excellent on price, choice & delivery and have no hesitation in recommending them.
