Love the product
Been using the product for over a year, really love it!
Lots of new features coming and also issues are fixed really fast!
Lackluster experience overall
The customer support was rather slow… the latency of the model didnt support fast paced conversations.
Highly advanced AI calling software for retail, though with slight latency.
I have been using Retail AI for our business, and overall, the platform provides a very good service. It is a highly advanced piece of software specifically designed for handling retail calls, and it truly shows in its capabilities.
The system is incredibly sophisticated and robust. One of the standout features is how excellently everything is measured and tracked. The analytics and data provided give us deep insights into our call operations, allowing us to optimize our retail processes effectively. It feels like a truly next-generation tool for automating and managing voice interactions with customers.
However, to provide a completely honest review, there is one technical area that needs improvement: the latency is a bit high during conversations. Specifically, when using the Gemini 3 Flash model, we have noticed that the response time can sometimes delay between 1.5 and 2.5 seconds. In a live call environment, this slight pause can occasionally disrupt the natural flow of the conversation.
Despite this latency issue, the core technology is incredibly powerful. If they can optimize the response times, it would be absolutely perfect. Even as it stands, Retail AI is a fantastic, highly advanced solution that I strongly recommend for any retail business looking to upgrade their call systems.
Retell AI — Country restrictions with zero transparency or support
I've been trying to make outbound calls to Turkey (+90) for days and every single call fails immediately with the following error:
"SIP status code 403 — telephony_provider_permission_denied: Dialed number (associated countries: TUR) is not included in whitelisted countries USA, CAN D13"
The D13 error indicates a country-level block that cannot be changed from the dashboard. There is no documentation warning you about this before you spend time and money setting up your entire telephony stack. I purchased a dedicated external Telnyx number specifically to call Turkish numbers, configured everything correctly on both ends, and still hit this invisible wall.
No clear support channel, no timeline for resolution, no transparency about which countries are restricted and why. Just a cryptic error and silence.
What a waste of time and effort. Pathetic
Great experience with retell AI
Great website, easy to use and is very user friendly for beginners. I suggest using this websites for building your own voice agents
it works really good for production…
it works really good for production grade systems
Granular control over almost everything!
The fact that Retell has laid out options which I, as a normal user can't even think about... Is pretty DAMN amazing and shows their research in the field is top notch.
Would all the newbies to check out the "Conversational Flow" Agents to build a solid AI Voice Agent that just doesn't talk, rather handles the call pretty well.
Well done Team Retell 👏
the simple ui and usage
Amazing better than vapi
Best For Building ROI Agents.
I build a lot of ai voice agents for busineses and I found that it works well for all of them. For example if you use to build the inbound voice agent for receptionist it save your money, time and works better than human receptionist.
Improving at a really good pace
I like that they update the platform regularly and each update actually makes things easier and more flexible to use. The agents setup is straightforward, the API is well-designed and it’s great for testing real world use cases without too much friction. Overall, it’s a solid platform with strong potential that keeps getting better over time.
Swapped from another service that was…
Swapped from another service that was not working any longer. I remember the set up on the other service was a full week of typing testing typing. With Retell AI it was 10 minutes to have an active bot doing exactly what I needed. Very impressive.
Retell has been my first choice for Voice Ai Agent where reliablity and easy of use matters.
Retell has been my first choice for me and my voice AI clients. Where Retell really stands out compared to other providers is the reliability and uptime.
In my opinion, Retell has the best user experience and proven stability. I'm running now way over a year Voice AI agents for Clients, without any problems.
Game-Changer for AI-Powered Calling
We integrated Retell AI directly into our CRM platform, and it's been a brilliant experience. As a CRM-based startup, we needed a voice AI solution that could sit natively within our system — handling calls, updating records, and triggering workflows in real time — and Retell delivered exactly that. The voice quality is natural, latency is virtually unnoticeable, and the conversation flow is so smooth that our users' clients often have no idea they're speaking with an AI. It blends seamlessly into the CRM experience, making every call feel like an extension of the platform itself.Integration was clean and efficient. The API documentation made it easy for our dev team to connect call logic directly to our CRM pipelines — from lead qualification and appointment setting to follow-ups and status updates — all automated without missing a beat. The customization options gave us full control over scripting, tone, and conversation branching, which was critical for tailoring the experience across different industries and use cases. What really sets Retell apart is how well it handles real conversation — interruptions, pauses, complex decision trees — all managed flawlessly. That reliability gave us the confidence to roll it out across our entire platform.
great fantastic
The best value for a complex agent
It costs more than the other option I was piloting, but it solved all the big problems I had with the other option, which was not having a good way to deal with latency, and not having the option to change the LLM.
Probably the best AI caller I've used
Probably the best AI caller I've used. Simple and advanced at the same time. highly recommend
