Reuters news

I’ve been following reuters for years, and it’s one of the most reliable sources when it comes to getting quick news. They always publish facts, not trash info. Sometimes navigation around the website may lag, but overall it’s good for reading useful articles in daily routinte. I feel how I get older and looking like a granfather. xD

Horrible reporting

Horrible reporting. They couldn't find the truth if it slapped them in the face. I recently read on article so full of lies about someone I hope they are slapped with a defamation suit. Blocked their sorry reporting from my feed.

Reuters review

Reuters (alongside the FT and BBC) is where I get my news from. The reporting is in-depth and fact checked and its coverage of global affairs is excellent. It employs its own reporters and journalists. It is regularly updated. For those reasons, I tend to give Reuters stories high credence. For me, the subscription is absolutely worth it.

South African President

I watched Donald Trump show a video to the South African president of himself chanting death to white farmers, and the next day Reuter’s says it’s fake news…. When it’s quite clear. Why is Reuter’s spreading fake news. This platform has become so biased, and spreading false news!

The gold standard in global news and current affairs coverage

Associated Press is extremely US focused, and is highly biased towards parochial
American liberal coastal viewpoint on news stories and on choice of which on subjects to cover. The standard of writing is also often quite poor, inaccurate and lacking in alternative viewpoints.
Reuters on the other hand, is excellent in all of the above.
A sterling example of what a wire agency should be,
an amazing respource for other journalists, the general public and policymakers alike.
Coverage is far more indepth and they are global leaders in breaking news stories across the globe, unlike the AP which tends to regurgitate news stories nowadays

Greedy selfish people posing as "journalists."

Paywalls

I used to go to Reuters for most of my news, especially as introductory to current events. Now everything's behind a paywall. Sure, 1 dollar a week doesn't seem like much, but when you're living paycheck to paycheck, those 4 dollars can be the difference of having a dinner for a night.
