A great little company that's done things right
I've had the opportunity to have seen this company grow from a small, grassroots operation into the larger, more polished and efficient operation it now is. When looking for my replica Eames chair I visited many local showrooms and discovered just how many versions were out there, and how unsophisticated most dealers were in knowing what made a good replica. Many had little idea of how theirs compared to the real thing. Rove is the only company I came across that 'got it' - and have since refined their offerings not only in selection, but also in build quality and replica accuracy. Their prices are a little higher than before, but in my mind you get what you pay for. They are also the only replica company I've come across that place an emphasis on highlighting the original designers, as well as their furniture 'builders', which helps keep their products tied to the people behind them and gives credit where its due.
I've ordered a number of things from them recently and have found them to be of generally excellent quality, with some unexpected attention to detail. They are not 'perfect', but are a fraction of the price of the real thing.
I did have one issue with a chair that was damaged due to the way someone in the warehouse had packed the box, but Rove had responded very quickly and professionally, giving me some options and ultimately dealt with the problem with a minimum of downtime and trouble on my part.
Overall I've had consistently good experiences with them. Do things happen sometimes? Sure - but I feel they try (and seem capable) to keep issues to a minimum and resolve problems when they appear. Their furniture ultimately will speak for itself and I expect I'll continue to do business with them in the future.
