Although the site said in stock, in fact the item I ordered had to be shipped from the US to the Delta BC warehouse, meaning an apparent minimum of a two week wait, which seems excessive given that you can order on-line from the US and get same week delivery.
In the end, It did actually arrive faster than advised. It was well packaged in a wood crate which took some time to open, and the base was filthy, but we happily cleaned it. Once we tried to put it together, however (difficult since they sent no assembly instructions), we found they had sent the wrong base for the table, no mid plate and a total of 4 out of 12 needed screws. When I called to advise, they said their customer service would be in touch first thing the following day, however, I ended up having to call them. She explained she was busy training a new employee (!?). Bottom line was that they won't access their warehouse on Saturdays so can't provide the right parts or even let me know if they have them. For three days minimum, I will have this giant table top lying in the middle of my kitchen. I'm just hoping someone does actually follow through as promised and delivers the table I've actually paid for on Monday.
