Poor Customer Service

Furniture would not be received for 12 weeks after I ordered it. I accepted that, but when the furniture went on sale 2 weeks after I ordered and Rove insisted on a 3% fee to get the sales price, that is clearly a poor customer service attitude.

For the record Rove's response is a little self serving. I never complained or took issue with the stated delivery date. Furthermore, no exception was made for my account. In keeping with your own policies I was fully capable of cancelling the order for the same 3% penalty. I never stated that you did not act within your stated policies - I simply took exception to your policies as evidence of poor customer service.

Thank you for your review.

Your order was placed as a pre-order, with stock arriving to our warehouse 6 weeks from when you placed the order. From that arrival date they will have our usual in-stock lead time of 7-16 business days. We make sure to clearly state availability of items on each product page so our customers are aware of the lead time before purchase.

While we appreciate your frustration regarding sale pricing we do have a company policy shown on our website of not adjusting sale pricing beyond 72 hours of an order being placed. This ensures that we are fair to all of our customers and do not extend sales beyond a reasonable time after they expire. With that being said we were happy to make an exception and adjust your savings to the new sale, with only a 3% transaction fee deducted to cover transaction costs of your refund charged by the online payment processor. Other than these concerns we hope that you enjoy your new furniture for years to come and that we see you again soon at roveconcepts.com!
