Beautiful but scratches easily
This is a beautiful, solid table. However the surface scratches easily and when I tried to get rid of the scratches, first with a damp cloth, then with soap and finally with Windex, it took off the shiny surface. So now my table has a noticeable non-shiny smudgy area. If you read a lot of the details for this product, they advise keeping it covered; but this should not be necessary for a table of this quality. Any surface will scratch but this seems extra vulnerable and trying to remove the scratches makes it worse.

We always advise using place mats and coasters to help keep your table looking pristine for as long as possible. While it is a durable surface it still has the potential to be scratched by abrasive items. For cleaning we advise using a gentle cleanser and soft cloth. Unfortunately more persistent scrubbing may cause the removal of surface layers, causing a difference in sheen.
