Delivery service feedback

Service at the store was fine. Only complaint related to delivery. We were told that with the white glove service, the deliverers would unbox and assemble the furniture ordered. So it came as a shock when the deliverers asked if I wanted them to unbox the sofa. Once it was unboxed, I noticed that they had not assembled anything but recall the sales clerk mentioning the need to put on the legs. As such, I asked if there were legs and they said no. The sofa looked lower than I remembered in the showroom so I went over to feel the legs of the sofa and noticed an opening and no materials to prevent scratching of the floor. Sure enough the papers accompanying the sofa confirmed that there were legs that needed to be screwed on. At this point the deliverers were on their way out so I had to call them back and ask about the legs. They did find and install the legs but I thought it was odd that they wouldn't know about these beforehand. Are the deliverers given instructions on what needs to be done? Overall, we're ok with the exception of the delivery service.
