We ordered a Hugo Sectional, Right Hand Facing with Black Legs. The order total was below $1,000 due to a great sale (which we were very thankful for). In the estimated total screen, including applicable GST, the shipping was $89. When our card was charged, we were billed $178 for shipping. Our order fell below the $1,000 mark, so we should have only been charged for $89 in shipping. Emily in Customer Service used a "smoke and mirrors approach" to deal with us and despite sending her the exact screenshot of what we discussed, she just used distraction to deal with it In her final email, she was not professional. Rove should have just eaten the shipping and fixed their website so that it calculates shipping correctly, but instead the emails went back and forth and it was a total waste of my time. The sofa quality is on par with a sofa at that price point. It's certainly not B&B Italia, nor should one expect that. The construction is good and it looks good. It's not a daily use sofa. I wouldn't patronize Rove again based on my experience.
