Photos of items from different…
Photos of items from different orientations and closeups allowed me to get a good 'look'. I would have appreciated the option to 'see' items in different finishes, with different materials.
Item came within 3 months as expected. Towards the due date I called for an update on the expected delivery date. I was told the order had never been completed.(?!What!?) A rep worked with me to resolve that confusion. Actual delivery was delayed one day by a truck breakdown, rescheduling for the following day. No Problem. The replacement trucking company was not prepared to do any installation that was included with white glove treatment. Again, a rep worked with me to resolve this. (It turned out no installation was necessary.) You have to have a little faith in Rove's sincerity to make things work.
My leather sofa and chair looked just as I had hoped they would. You cannot sit on a sofa online. I was mildly disappointed that the leather sofa and chair were not stuffed more fully. They are not built for the couch potato. At this stage in my life, the look is more important. The 'polished' leather on the chair seems quite thin and fragile? It's been 6 months, and no problems so far.
My leather items were considered custom because I chose a color other than black, therefore no returns. I was concerned that if there was some sort of flaw, I would have a problem. No problems found. I trust that the reps would have helped me if there had been.
Bottom line: Ordering living room furniture online is not for the faint hearted. I am very satisfied with the end result. I trust Rove Concept to do their best.
