Nice sofa, terrible delivery service
Vey happy with our sofa and the online experience was good. But the delivery service was very poor, which has coloured the entire experience and would make me think twice about ordering again.
Paying a fortune for white glove delivery did not seem to confer anything beyond simply the sofa being brought upstairs and unpackaged. Not even a basic hello or goodbye, just really unfriendly dudes. And the packaging it arrived in was a total mess - I am shocked (and relieved) that the sofa was still in good shape. Trying to book a time for the delivery was worse - they gave me one window, which I booked the condo elevator for, then called and gave me another one - which I could not book the elevator for. They said then they'd come at a smaller window to account for the elevator window that I had already booked and then came 1.5 hours before that. This was also after me trying to call them back several times to rearrange the whole thing - no one ever answered the phone or called me back after leaving a message. To be clear, this was not Mactrans (they were super friendly and helpful) but the delivery service that took it off their hands in Toronto.
