Misleading inventory numbers and return policy

This is a review of the service, since I haven't received the merchandise yet. I had to call customer care because the website indicated that there were only 6 left of the chair I wanted to buy. I wanted to buy just 1 so I could be sure I liked it before buying the others (because of the harsh return policy). CC told me that there were in fact 100+. When I went back on the site to order it, the website again said there were only 10 left! This is disconcerting and confusing.

Also the return policy is draconian with a 15% restocking fee and customer pays return shipping.

Hi Nina,

We do note on the product page the exact number of products when the amount available is less than 10, and when there are more than 10 of one product available, the web page will list "10+ available" in this case. In this instance, we did just receive a shipment of the Wishbone Chair in Natural/Natural, and this was likely the reason behind the change in stock amount. We are sorry that this was not clear on the product page and that it caused confusion!
