Defective item - claim pending

Shipment was quick. I received my item within a few days of order as it was instock. However, the unboxing is extremely difficult as the table top was put into a crates secured by at least 20 nails. very frustrating experience to unbox. The base leg which was wrapped up in bubble wrap and another box is defective, a small corner of the paint was chipping off. Item still functional but with the amount it charges I expect the item to be of higher quality and better shopping experience.

We are very sorry to hear of any frustration with unpacking your Tulip Table. As we often ship these fragile marble pieces cross-country, it is important for them to be securely packaged. We understand as a local customer it can be both convenient and economical to pick up your items instead of having them delivered, but we do recommend selecting the White Glove Service for pieces like this, as the agents will do all the unpacking for you! We are happy to see that despite your report of a defect being outside our claims period, we were still able to provide you with detailed repair recommendations for the blemish.
