My first purchase from Rove was just a few months ago. I live in Canada and was disappointed to learn that their sales are often for US customers only. Thankfully, Rove created a membership program, a one-time $50 fee and you get 20% off all purchases for a year. This was the push I needed to finally get the sofa I’d been eyeing for a year!

I purchased the Hugo Sectional in Solstice Vintage Velvet, a bright blue. This colour was not what I truly wanted, I wanted the pale beige (which they call Alesund) but I knew that my children might end up doing some damage to a sofa in such a light colour. I contacted customer service to ask if the seat covers were removable and if I could order an extra set, just in case my children ended up damaging the blue seat covers. The rep was very helpful and the response was better than I could have imagined! The entire sofa has a removable cover —the back, the arms, everything— is held in place by some seriously strong Velcro. The rep let me know that I could order an entire set of “replacement” covers. So, for now I have a stunning, massive, comfortable blue sofa with the largest chaise I’ve ever seen *and* I can have my dream sofa, in my dream colour when the children are older and more responsible! The velvet is a soft, very thick, tightly woven fabric. The Alesund is very soft as well.The seat cushions on the sofa are on the firm side but very comfortable, I can tell it is going to last. The sofa had no off-gassing smell that some furniture has when it first arrives.

I had such an incredible experience with Rove when I made my first purchase, I went back for some throw pillows and a TV stand. I went with the Andrej TV stand and used the 20% off voucher I received when I purchased the sofa, making the TV stand an unbelievably low price. It’s exactly as pictured, no assembly required and it was packed really well.

I tried to make my third purchase tonight, the Aubrey dining chairs and matching counter stools and the 24 hour flash sale price is not showing up in my cart. The site does have glitches once in a while but the occasional website issue isn’t that big of a deal to me, I think quality is the most important thing when one shops for furniture, and Rove, they’ve got that down.
