Order delays, no updates, limited concierge access, but they're sending some sheets.
I ordered a table, set of chairs, and a membership on 9/07/20. The original ship date was for the end of October/early November. Without a proactive update, I noticed the ship date has been changed to end of November/early December. When that time came that ship date was changed again, now the status shows a date of Dec 3-13th (again with no email notification).
I called the concierge line and nobody answered, so I left a voicemail and tried reaching them via their live chat option. For a $100 membership, I would have thought someone would have at least picked up the phone.
The agent told me via chat that they "are currently experiencing delays due to Covid-19 restrictions and safety measures at the warehouse and port congestion." and that my furniture would not be at my home before the Thanksgiving holidays.
They did offer an appeasement of some complimentary bedding, "As a gesture of our apologies for the delay we would like to send you complimentary Rora Bedding. You are welcome to choose between either the Organic Bamboo Duvet Cover Set or the Organic Bamboo Sheet Set. Both sets are available in either King size or Queen size and White or Charcoal. Just let me know the which colour, size and set you are interested in and I'll generate the order right away."
Here's why I rated 3 starts:
1) No proactive notification/emails to let me know that the order ship date changed several times. There should be an option to opt-in to these updates.
2) I paid $100 for a membership that includes concierge service, but I had to leave a voicemail and then use the chat option to get a status update.
3) The saving grace was that Rove offered me an appeasement of some bed sheets. This is what made the difference in 2 stars vs 5.
