Ordered a set of Aubrey side chairs. They took a long time to be delivered as they were on backorder, but this was expected based on what I was told when I ordered. They ended up being delivered within the expected time window.

The delivery company they used could have used some improvement (they delivered 2 of the 3 boxes upside down, when the boxes had arrows pointing the way they should have been delivered, because of the way they were boxed/protected within the boxes; one of the boxes had a large puncture hole; and the delivery people signed for the delivery on our behalf without our knowledge).

The chairs themselves are lovely - very comfy and quite beautiful. However, each of the chairs had some cosmetic flaws on them (every single chair had one or two black marks or scratches on them). They are minor, but noticeable; enough to be annoying/potentially an eyesore. Because of this, I submitted a claim.

Initially I was offered a VERY minor amount (given the size of the purchase) as compensation, which I wasn't happy about, but I explained the situation further and we quickly reach a resolution I was content with. For me, the claims process was not nearly as painful as some of the reviews on here led me to believe. Maybe I just got lucky.

The other reason I'd dock a star is that the shipping costs are REALLY freaking high compared to everywhere else, for what it was. $300 for 3 large boxes that could definitely have been sent via courier is a bit ridiculous.

I would definitely give Rove another shot with a future purchase if there's anything I like, but I would also make sure to be super attentive when I receive my order.
