summer patio furniture will arrive at the end of summer
I ordered my outdoor furniture on April 25 to enjoy the summer in Toronto.
When I placed my order the estimate delivery was between June 22, 2021 and July 2, 2021. I contacted Rove customer service in May and they told me the delivery was probably around July 10 at the warehouse in BC plus 6-16 business days to have it shipped to Toronto, ON.
On June 1 I contacted Rove customer service again and they updated me with the latest estimate delivery (always at the BC warehouse): July 20-July 30, 2021, plus the usual 6-16 business days for delivery. Again this is their estimate not a precise date.
I am upset because I never received a curtesy email from ROVE with the update delivery dates, they never gave me the possibility to cancel my order nor offer any explanation.
Rove reiterated their policy: the delivery date for your order is a good faith estimate and they cannot guarantee a date.
Now, as a Canadian customer who spent $4,000 on outdoor furniture I need to know if I have to place the order at Christmas time in order to enjoy the outdoor furniture in the summer.
Rove promptly took my money on April 25 and I am asked to wait indefinitely for my purchase to arrive. I am not happy with the poor customer service and I understand why people are buying though Amazon.
