Terrible customer service
At first sight, Rove Concepts seems like a serious and professional company, however, after placing two orders with them, I realized they spend so much money on marketing and perfect-looking website/pictures, that there is no money left to invest in good customer service, decent delivery company and, honestly, better product quality.
After my first order, customer service was not able to help me with two simple questions about assembly and couch cleaning. My second order for a dresser never arrived; four scheduled deliveries were no-shows without a notice. I had to literally chase Rove Concept's representatives and call the delivery company every week to get an update. It was definitely exhausting to send emails and calls and never get a response (responses would come a week later without answers or resolution). After dragging all this for two months (with the additional two months of waiting for the initial delivery date), I received an email notifying me that my order has been mislabeled and lost. Rove Concepts offered me a full refund, which sounded like they're doing me a favor. In my response, I wanted to understand if there is anything they are willing to do to compensate for all the inconvenience and terrible experience I went through. It has been two weeks now and no response. At this point I feel like I lent money long term to Rove Concepts and got nothing in return (no drawer and not even a simple discount). For any other furniture company it would be a normal business practice to own issue resolution and be timely in customer responses (not only emails, but actually talking to a customer to better understand the situation); however, in the case of Rove Concepts, they prefer to put all blame on the delivery company they contract and keep the money.
I regret signing up for their membership, as it seems like a scam, it works only if you buy their furniture frequently; although, there is no guarantee if you will ever receive an item after paying for it (mind blowing!). This is very unfortunate as I still have a good amount in membership vouchers, but I am not feeling like I would want to use them anymore.
