I have collected Royal Copenhagen for many years now. One of my favorit is my Blue element plates. But I have always bought them from a store, but now I bought my last pièces at the Royal Copenhagen site and I also bought a name cup and they were delivered in a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT shade of blue. They are a pale blue and nothing like the blue ones I already have and the ones you advertise on the website. I know they are hand painted. But you have to ensure that the colour at least matches somewhat. A completely different colour is not acceptable. It looks like the ones not been ok on production and second production that should be sold for less or a new pattern with another colour. My new plates are many shades lighter in colour and the side decoration looks lika a different pattern due to the pale colour. I am aware the production is now located to Thailand but I really thought the brand should be more treasured and delivery checked. It shocked me when I emailed your online team about my first purchase and they didn’t take any responsibility and if I want to return the items I have to pay for the return. Don’t show all the itéms in dark blue colours on the web if the things you deliver are really pale. It’s a scàm!

No shipping update and no response from customer service
I am very disappointed with my recent experience with Royal Copenhagen.
I placed an order on 10.02 my card was charged immediately and I received the order number, so far so good... However, as of today (18.02), my order has still not been shipped and I have not received any update.
I have tried contacting customer service three times. I attempted to call, but was prompted to use the online contact form instead. I sent my first email on 14.02 and received no response. I sent a second email on 18.02 and am still waiting to hear back.
What is most frustrating is the complete lack of communication. I simply want to know when my plates will be shipped. I previously ordered during the Christmas period and everything was dispatched within five days, so this delay, combined with no customer support response, is surprising and disappointing for a brand of this reputation.
I hope someone from Royal Copenhagen will respond and provide clarity on my order as soon as possible
SCAM almost ZERO customer service
I bought about 25 pieces of item from the US website on December 8th. I received a shipping notification email December 15th (this is probably the longest shipping experience I've experienced since I started online shopping in 2008). The order was shipped in three boxes. Two of them was signed by someone I don't recognize. So I didnt receive the first two. The last one's tracking status has been "Label created" for 15 days so far. So I contacted the customer service through the online portal December 21st. I haven't heard anything back. I also cannot find any other way to contact the firm. Definitely didnt expect this from an "established" brand like Royal Copenhagen - it feels like a scam.

This is a scam
This is a scam, trying since 2 weeks to get in touch with their customer department. They do not answer the phone nor the emails. The contact form says it’s out of order…. So how can you reach out to them?? Most probably the parcel was lost on it’s way back to Royal CPH… No help or what so ever from them.
Since GLS were not able to deliver at my door, my parcel went back to Royal CPH and I am supposed to get a refund. This has now taken 1 month without any solutions... And it continous… a week ago a lady who’s name is Pernille finally contacted me from Royal CPH that a refund is on it’s way but can take up to 5 business days. But guess what happened instead… they sent out a new item exatly with the same slow process with GLS… This is really so time consuming and totally stupid of them, save your nervs and go shopping elsewere.

Zero customer service
I have been a royal Copenhagen customer for years. I have bought around 50 pieces over the years! But the last 2 plates I received and the last dish (all Blue Mega) were sent to me, from the royal Copenhagen online website, in a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT shade of blue. They are a pale blue and nothing like the blue you advertise on your website. I know they are hand painted. But you have to ensure that the colour at least matches somewhat. If the glazing or the firing process changes the colour to a completely different colour that is not acceptable. These new plates are 5 shades lighter in colour and not even the white porcelain is the same white as to what I have before! I am absolutely shocked. But what I am more shocked about is that I emailed your online team last Wednesday morning about this, included photos, not a word back, I have since emailed again on Friday, no reply, I emailed again yesterday, no reply, I have emailed your Fiskars email, no reply, I also emailed your flagship store, no reply! I do not know what kind of company you are running lately but I will never ever buy anything from you again. If a customer sends you a complaints email you should reply to that within one day! That is standard procedure - you haven’t replied to me for one week! And you sent out products that are faulty! I am sending back all 3 items and I can promise you I will never buy from you again. Zero customer service and you need to look into the quality control before you ship things out. I hope your CEO sees this. If anyone can be bothered to reply to me I should hope that comes from a senior manager or I prefer you don’t contact me at all. The fact that your score on here is 2.4 is SHOCKING! You should be very very concerned, your reputation is not what it was in the past

Crack inside of thermal mug
I live in Boston and travelled Denmark and bought thermal mug at outlet store, frederiksberg on May 22, 2024 and recently found crack inside which seems to be made during manufacturing process. I contacted outlet store to know whether it is possible to get warranty by email with 5photos but failed. They replied to my email "If you took it with you, then we cannot help you, as there is no warranty on 2.quality products." I was very disappointed because they don't care after sales of 2.quality products. I had bought many well-known other brands including 2.quality products but never saw this kind of crack inside and never experienced this kind of after sales service.

Terrible experience
Terrible experience 👎🏼😔 I placed an order on 29 Feb 2024, and have still not received it. Their website says delivery will take 6-8 days, but it’s been 84+ days!!! After enquiring about my order for the 8th time, they replied saying that it’s been delivered to my house and if I don’t have it, then it should be at my local post office. So I went to my post office and lo and behold - it’s not there either, and the tracking codes Royal Copenhagen gave me are out of China (⁉️🔔) and also not valid for the Netherlands. What a “great” business model to take my money and give me nothing in return. I have requested a refund… let’s see what happens. 🤷🏼♀️

Ordered a black mega fluted vase received my order on the 22nd February 2023 in the United Kingdom opened it on arrived correct box but to my dismay the box was opened but there was the blue version 19cm I had emailed almost a week ago and sent photographs to confirm this received case number and heard nothing back.
Total non existing customer service not happy to the fact I paid £175 for the vase and no mention of it being made in Thailand on there website,not happy

Bad product quality and poor customer service
I purchased one Mega Blue teapot from the official website wanting to give it to someone as a Christmas gift. The teapot I received has a disformed lid in its inside part of the lid. It is not round anymore. Although the lid still can fit into the upper opening, it would be very embarrassing if I give it to anyone as a gift because Royal Copenhagen has been known for the superb quality of its product. I contact their customer service right away, sent them the photos on the irregular-shaped lid as well. After a few days of waiting their response was that the irregularity was not defect, but rather a prove of the hand-made.
Below is the direct copy of their reply:
“ Our products are handmade/thrown, not processed by machine. Slight Variances in shape are a sign of our craftmanship and is not a defect. Additionally, the high firing temperature also has a strong influence on the form expression of the finished porcelain. When the porcelain is fired, it shrinks by about 14 percent. Although the composition of the porcelain mass ensures that the porcelain shrinks in mostly the same manner, small irregularities may occur as the porcelain is handmade.
There are of course limits to what are acceptable irregularities, and this is managed through our quality control. May I please ask if this variance prevents the lid from fitting appropriately into the teapot? If so, I will kindly ask if you can provide a picture of the fit?”
It is unbelievable that an obvious non-round shaped lid can pass the quality-control. I totally lost my trust on their craftsmanship and customer service. It feels like a scam to me and anyone would like to purchase their products should think twice.

I ordered and was charged for eight plates. There was a delay in the shipping process in England and they were returned to Royal Copenhagen in Denmark. I have contacted Royal Copenhagen twice over a period of one month with no response. Their customer service phone number is no longer in service. No plates, no response, no refund.
Garanti is a lie!
I bought two Blå mega riflet lysstage from iMerco and wanted to register for garanti. But i can not find the products on their system. How can you sell the products that doesn´t exist in the system? Besides that, I wrote a message about this problem twice on their contact page, never got a reply. I think this doesn´t suit at all to a company like Royal Copenhagen and it is very irritating. So, does it mean ITS A LIE!!! with the garanti.

Very bad. When I purchased my service some years ago I was promised that the items should always be available.

I bought all our crockery from plates to soup bowls of Royal Copenhagen china, which by the way is made in Thailand. After 6 months I contacted their customer service to say my bowls were already showing dark grey marks on the surface and was told this was normal.
After 4 years now I can honestly say the dinner plates are so worn out looking its appalling.
I am happy to pay for fine porcelain but Royal Copenhagen you need to take a hard look at the quality of your products. Terribly disappointed.

We had family from Canada visit, just before Christmas. We went into the RC Flagship store to buy two presents for our guests' wife. Very nice service, they were about to close but NO stress at all.
We bought the two products, they wrapped them nicely for gifts, and we left. On Christmas eve the gift was opened and unfortunately, the shop had wrapped the two same products.
I called the store yesterday. I just managed to shortly explain the situation before the nice staff, Sabrina, said - no problem. Send me pictures of the receipt, and the SKU on the right products and we will send the right one to Canada.... no questions asked. Now my friends that is superb service.
