Exceptional UI and Outstanding Support!
Exceptional UI and Outstanding Support!
I am thoroughly impressed with my experience using Sensa. The user interface is incredibly intuitive, beautifully designed, and a total joy to navigate. It makes tracking my daily habits and managing stress completely seamless and stress-free. What truly sets this company apart, though, is their phenomenal customer service team. When I had a quick question regarding my account setup, their support team responded almost instantly with genuine kindness and professionalism. They resolved my issue immediately and went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied. A rare, top-tier experience all around!
Sensa targets vulnerable people with ADHD
Sensa targets vulnerable people with ADHD while offering a product and policies that clearly are not designed for how ADHD actually affects people. Sensa claims to help ADHD users, yet the app was ineffective, difficult to navigate, and provided no meaningful follow-up despite years of inactivity on the account.
I stopped using Sensa shortly after subscribing in 2022 because the app simply did not work for me, but Sensa continued charging me for almost 4 years without my awareness. After multiple email communications, Sensa refunded only $45 due to their policy, even though the app had not been used.
Sensa’s business model feels exploitative toward susceptible users actively seeking help. In my experience, Sensa does not deliver what it promises and should not market itself as an ADHD-focused solution.
A Total Rip Off Company
They'll make sure to rip you off in every way possible!!
Companies like these are why California's Automatic Renewal Law (ARL) Exists
I wish I had read these reviews before signing up for this app. I used the app for about a month, two and a half years ago, when I was having a tough time. It was ok, I did the exercises and some journaling, but after that I decided I needed something different and thought I canceled the app through the app store, and took it off my phone.
I then got charged on PayPal without notification or consent every 6 months for 2 years, and the charges increased, without notification or consent, from $59.99 to $98.94 for 6 months.
Sensa's policy is in direct violation of California's Automatic Renewal Law, which states:
"(1) A business shall send an annual reminder to a consumer under an annual automatic renewal agreement or continuous service agreement with the business in the same medium that resulted in the activation of the automatic renewal or continuous service, or the same medium in which the customer is accustomed to interacting with the business, including, but not limited to, by telephone, mail, or email. For originally in-person or voice-based transactions, the business shall send the reminder by telephone, mail, or any internet-based communication.
(2) The reminder sent pursuant to this subdivision shall disclose all of the following:
(A) The product or service to which the automatic renewal or continuous service applies.
(B) The frequency and amount of charges associated with the automatic renewal or continuous service.
(C) The means to cancel the automatic renewal or continuous service."
Stay far away!
SCAM
The app does not live up to what's promised, instead they take advantage being a self help-app for people with adhd who tends to be a group of people you can exploit with these kinds of scams and refuse giving back refunds even if I haven't used their product since I downloaded the app 2 years ago. Highly unethical. I thought I ended my subscription back then. Instead they've sneakingly collected money from me each "6 month subscription" without alerting me about it, an email, giving a confirmation receipt or any kind- but simply withdraw money from my bankaccount. Shame on you
I found the app to be of no real…
I found the app to be of no real usefulness or help. When I cancelled the subscription (and received a confirmation email) they continued to bill me via PayPal anyway. When I emailed the Sensa directly, I received no response.
Lengthy fraudulent charges with no resolve.
This company was able to access my PayPal account and bill me monthly for eight months! I never used their service. I'm disputing now through PayPal and they continue to decline the refund. This experience borders on fraud.
You’ll cry if you subscribe to this app
Same as everyone else. Have ADHD, didn’t use it, deleted app, deleted annoying emails, then get a bill of which I couldn’t really afford.. currently going through chemo treatments. I get that business is business.. but.. they ain’t in it to help people, they ain’t in it to help you, so don’t bother.. as the auto renew will feel like a stab in the guts for at least 48 hours.
The experience of the show was terrific!…
The experience of the show was terrific. I took 2 grandkids and one of their friends and i made up the fourth member of the team. The children were totally engaged for 2 hours. They said that they "loved it"! Their ages were 11, 11, and 10. I was very impressed with the whole set up. There were about 5 rooms, all carefully constructed, in a quality way. We had an event guide for the 4 of us, who was fun, and helpful. The aim of the experience was to challenge us, in all our different senses, and it did just this. We were challenged and had great fun. There was nothing scarey. And suddenly 2 hours had gone by. The children loved the laser room, trying to move around without disturbing the laser beams. They enjoyed all of the rooms. I enjoyed it too, at aged 82! It was well worth the money spent and I would encourage others to go, for a different and fun experience. Though it was not cheap, it was a quality show, and probably labour intensive to run!
Sensa - SKIP IT - Predatory Billing
I signed up for Sensa in 2022, hoping it would help me manage my ADHD symptoms. Unfortunately, the app was ineffective for me, offering little more than basic journaling features and surface-level content that could easily be found online for free. It fell far short of its promises to provide meaningful tools for ADHD management.
What’s worse is their predatory subscription model. Like many others with ADHD, I forgot about the auto-renewal feature, which resulted in ongoing charges for a service I wasn’t using. When I finally noticed and reached out to request a refund for the most recent charge (not the YEARS of unused service), I was met with their rigid 14-day cancellation policy. Despite explaining my situation, they refused to issue a refund. This lack of flexibility feels exploitative, especially given that it's marketed to people desperate to get control of their ADHD symptoms and are particularly vulnerable to forgetting such details.
Sensa’s practices seem designed to take advantage of distracted individuals. After a quick search, I found it clear I was not alone.
If you’re considering Sensa, I strongly advise against it. The app didn’t work for me, and the financial risk of forgetting about their subscription isn’t worth it. There are better tools and resources available that don’t prey on the vulnerabilities of those they claim to help. Save your money and look elsewhere for ADHD support.
PREDATORY OVERCHARGING - Based in Lithuania
I downloaded the app to preview for possible recommendation to clients. I cancelled in NOV 2024. Without notice, I was charged almost $100 for a renewal - and when I complained, I was told there could be no refunds. PREDATORY. I dug more - they are based in Lithuania, outside of regulation re scamming US customers.
Avoid like the plague - this company will scam you!
Do not get this app. They make you pay via paypal deliberately so you cant cancel the subscription in the app store. Red flag! It means they will continue to charge your paypal even if you have cancelled the subscription with them! " years they ahve been taking money from me and when i asked them to refund me they cant find my account! Of course they cant I closed it 2 years ago! Do not do this to yourself!! The app is terrible and doesn't help at all!!
I signed up for a trial via PayPal…
I signed up for a trial via PayPal which has multiple payment options so I didn't notice the refilling to a different card...kept getting billed...just noticed...requested a refund...they said no...but possible 25% back....the app has a very poor interface that doesn't appeal at all, not intuitive, text heavy, not useful at all...the problem is the phone in the first place so this app is not helpful in getting a person to be off their device and it is basically a very good marketing for a subpar product don't waste your time.
I used this app for 5 days and it cost me over $300
I used this app for 5 days, deleted it, and just found out I paid over $300 over the last two years. This app did not alert me to recurring charges, and even upped my subscription charge to $100 after they saw I wasn't using the app and wasn't fighting the charges.
Customer service offered me a 25% refund ($25) for the last charge....HA! So rude.
This seems to be a good app that is intended to HELP people, but all they are doing is robbing them.
Beware of auto-billing OUTSIDE of Apple.
Beware of auto-billing.
This app doesn't show up in the iPhone's Apple Subscriptions. It bills outside of Apple and it will continue to bill you even if you think you're no longer subscribed. It will continue to bill you even if you haven't used the app or even if you deleted the app.
It takes advantage of the very people it supposedly says it helps.
Aa far as does it work? It requires a lot of reading within the app. If you're already struggling to complete tasks, there's a good chance you won't find this app to be helpful.
SCAM - will keep charging your card without permission
Same experience as many others, where they have charged my card without notice or approval and are refusing a refund. When I contacted them (within minutes of my account being charged, for an app I haven't used in more than a year and had canceled), I was told that they would not refund me but would give me 25% back. Keeping 75% of money you weren't supposed to charge is a scam.
UPDATE: After many attempts contacting through their support channels and providing documentation, I was able to get the charge refunded. It took a lot of time and persistence; no doubt their hope is most people will give up and they will be able to keep the money they are taking without authorization.
Let's STOP THE PLAGUE of scammers preying on people with mental health conditions. Now!
Today I feel compelled to do something about this! There is literally a "pandemic" of scammy subscription apps and services out there preying on people with mental health conditions. Like me (ADHD). I am so sick of it! We need to either find or establish one central spot online to compile all of the negative experiences we've had and everything we have seen that exposes this terrible trend once and for all! From that repository of information, experiences and facts we can reach out to key hubs and organizations (like APA, NAMI, CHADD, ADDA, etc.) and to relevant watchdogs and consumer protection agencies (government and others). Also to major media including trusted daily newspapers, news networks, and wire services. We need to see some big exposé articles in the headlines and broadcast news coverage pieces aired to curb this plague! Are you with me??
Scammers
Scammers. They only charge and no service.
Theyve been parasiticly charging for 2 years without the service.
Complete scammers
Complete scammers - you cancel the app and the subscription, but then suddenly receive an email from PayPal that money has been taken again.
Product not for me but good customer service.
I registered for the product but found it didn't suit my needs. The content is very basic and I didn't find it value for money. I contacted customer services and explained and I was given a full refund despite being outside the 72 hour refund window (much less than in Europe). Can't say fairer than that!
