Had some issues with buying a gift card for someone, recipient wasn't receiving the pin and details. Emailed back and forth, Van was very nice and very happy to listen to my low key rant, incredibly helpful and issue sorted after a couple of days. Pleased with the customer service, would love if the process was easier for the gift card but recipient was over the moon so it was worth the effort.

Be careful buying stuff on website. I ought some items a week a go and then got a email from them saying if I answer a review I would get a free gift. But it’s a scam luckily my bank notified me all £104 would have come out of my account. SHEIN need to look into this as they are using the same name.

If I could rate a zero I would!! I purchased a gift card for my granddaughter in December and have over 20 emails with Shein and still no refund or active gift card. America should shut them down. They are a scam!!! Took my money and no gift card or refund. Emails just go nowhere and you cannot speak to anyone. Stay away from this company!!!! Now they respond to my post nicely saying to contact them. I should post the 20 emails I have after contacting them with no result! See in their post they do not speak to you, no phone number just email since December 2023. I have spent well over $190 on my time but I am not letting them get away with stealing from people.

I feel terrible SHEIN is scamming people like it’s nothing and get away with it they put a game name ‘puppy keep’ telling you you can win a free gift by feeding the puppy at first they made it so easy until you get to the end and they made it so hard just so you keep going to their app everyday and make you order staff to earn the dog food I feel terrible that SHEIN using people just to earn money I keep playing it’s been weeks I play it I got 99.99 and there was only 0.2 left to complete and it went back to 0.15 so again it’s not about the free gift I can easily buy it if I want to But it’s about that it’s very hard when you feel they take advantage from you and you get nothing from it I will never come across SHEIN again although I was a great customer but they don’t deserve anything

The fact that this company makes plus size clothing sexy, comfortable and affordable means everything to me. The only thing is that I never gotten a free gift from them and I spent all my money on this site for me and my family. Please send me a free 4x of your choice.

Not happy I’ve been ordering for a while with SHEIN now and no issues until now ordered 13 days ago and still no parcel! Angry as some was for a birthday gift. Will not be ordering again!!!!

Doing great shipping time is excellent wish I could get a free gift

brought a bunch of things half off a gift card/ half from my own bank account and half were sent destroyed they told me the only way they would give me a refund is back on the gift card (I threw the gift card out, this is my fault 100% but it was used seen no reason to keep it) and for 3 weeks just sent me pictures/ link to the policy witch I read and all it mentioned is the amount paid buy a gift card is priority to return to a gift card. No mention of it’s the only way they will do a refund or if you paid half with another card (refund was less then I paid with a bank card) it’s annoying but not a big deal if they can’t refund to my bank I was happy to take a store credit witch they also refused after twice offering it
Buy the way one of items was broken (I had proof) one was a completely different size to what I ordered (again proof) and one was a little device suppose to connect to wifi from a QR code witch says is expired and can’t be connected any other way. On top of a few things were diffrent then described but not as annoyed at those kinda to be expected on cheap websites like these

All they said was contact the company who supplied the gift card witch I did and they wouldn’t give me the PIN number and card number of a card I had no proof was mine for obvious reasons. Shein refused to give the numbers to me either

Shein offered to refund it to my shein wallet witch I was happy with asked for a return label to send it off but the next email said actually no it has to be a gift card.
3 weeks of being mucked around transfer to diffrent people made to explain it over and over (even tho it was all in the email thread) I was again told I could have a refund to my shein wallet but yet again changed there minds.

Definitely would of understood a bit more if there policy was that but no where dose it say it can only be put on a gift card, and to be talked down to and sent multiple emails of the same policy’s highlighted sections that did not relate to the issue at all was a bit insulting.

however even if it did I was told twice it didn’t matter and it could be put in a shein wallet. In the end all I was sent was pre written email apologies suggesting to read the policy but no one would answer any questions about where in the policy its mentioned you can’t be refunded.

To have them refuse a refund for products I can proof were sent broken, that I’m happy to send back to them and even happy to have the refund money used again on the website so there losing nothing at all and be told no and then open social media and see them happy to send thousand of dollars of products to people who promote them is insulting and proof that they couldn’t care less what they send to regual people

Over $100 of things that I can’t use and they said they could give me 200 points for the inconvenience (translates to $2) Disgusting customer service

I ordered a watch to a gift, but it was poor and cheap quality, was waited more than 1 month and at the end watch does not functional, i recorded two videos, and they said All is fine watch is okay and they dont accept the return! What a scam

My daughter loves the site, so I bought her a $200 gift card for Christmas. Little did I know that half of the items on the site are from third-party sellers and now my daughter can't buy what she wants because the gift card can't be used on those purchases.

If you buy a Shein gift card, you should be able to use it on anything on the site. I should have given her a Visa instead. It feels like kind of a scam.

Update - Shein reached out very quickly and resolved my issue. I am truly impressed and I am changing my review from 2 stars to 5!

I normally Love SHEIN and spent literally hundreds of pounds a year with then however sad to write Themis review. The mini games are a con, I have followed the rules and invited multiple friends and family of which they have signed up and yet when using my referral code every friend that’s the last one I need to sign up gets an error message and therefore I don’t get free gifts or credit. 4 new sign ups and no gift. I will be asking these friends to delete their accounts. Shame SHEIN are conning people
In this way because I will no longer recommend a company I usually love.

Regardless that the order was canceled and it was a Christmas gift. The customer service is absolutely shocking in Dubai. I have tried to speak to a manager but the representatives refuse to do so. I’m absolutely shocked at the level of unprofessionalism and attitude they give to customers.

The two customer service representatives are called ( Dina) and (Doaa) until now no manager or supervisor contacted me, no response to my emails.
I’m going to share this on social media so people can see how poorly the customers get treated by SHEIN.

I wish I could give -5 stars for their customer service and e-gift cards. Warning is... NEVER purchase an e-gift card. They do not send them. I sent my sister one for $100. Four days later... nothing and they are telling me to file a complaint with MY payment source, which is PayPal, who I must say took care of my end immediately. Just a warning on the email gift cards... Do NOT do it!

Fake games, they said they will give you the free gifts once you invites so many people, they will never give you gift

Additionally, they will automatically reply said to contact their customer service, let me tell you, customer service will never solve this issue

Shein black Friday 5 free gifts are fake do not trust them, they will make you keep sharing the Shein app and inviting friends to the app and in then end you won't get the gift at all.

I was gifted an E-gift card in September 2023. I went to use my gift for a purchase and could not use it. I contacted customer service and after two days trying to make my purchase with it, they told the person that gave it to me the card was used by someone other than me. Email address given was of someone we didn’t know. There is some shady business going on with e-gift cards from shein. This is the second bad deal I got with their cards. I believe something is going on in the company. DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR GIFT CARDS

The company will not give me my refund after my visa card was closed, would not refund to an alternative payment method (gift card or check). You are not able to actually talk to an actual person, you have to email the company and wait 24hrs for them to respond back to you.

So frustrating, took ages to receive items, majority of items are of poor quality, one was so badly damaged I can't give it as a gift and I have missing items. Contacting shein is impossible, nothing works on their website to contact anyone so I am out of pocket and have a damaged item I can't give as a gift.
Shein has responded to this, I have tried that method Shein of getting a refund and it doesn't work ! I don't want to speak to an online robot!

I am usually happy with items I have bought with Shein but I purchased a coat which was small for size and did the free return. It came with a 'fee' taken out of the gift card refund. Ordered a second dearer coat in a size bigger and it is quite a bit bigger. Where it folds back at front, not sure what you call it but it needs some stiffening because it won't sit correctly on the crease. I left a review but they don't publish anything but 5 star reviews. Be careful what you buy. I don't mind getting the odd cheaper top that I won't wear but when I spend more I expect it to be okay without needing alterations
