Good stuff but sizing a bit off
I have bought from Sturdy periodically over last few years. Recent purchase was of shorts and two vest tops. Shorts fabric has definitely changed since I last bought them, fabric not as stretchy but that is not necessarily a bad thing, just something to be aware of when selecting size. Also one vest top slightly smaller than the other despite ordering in same size.
I have contacted the company via their website regarding the comment given about the vest tops. I ordered pink and black. The black one is the same size and fit as a previous orange one I have. The pink one, however, is smaller. I have a picture of the pink one overlaying the black one on a flat surface and there is an obvious difference in size. I could not find a way to add it to my message to them but would be happy to forward it if they would like. I really like their products but gave an honest review and did not feel the comments about the vest tops really addressed my actual experience.

Having checked your order history, I can see your previous purchase was around three years ago.
I'd just like to reassure anyone reading this that our sizing has not changed during that time. We continue to use the same UK size grading we've used for many years, so there is no need for customers to size up when ordering.
It's also important to remember that garments worn regularly over several years will naturally feel softer and more relaxed than a brand-new item straight from the packet.
Regarding the vest tops, black fabrics can feel slightly different to coloured fabrics despite being manufactured to exactly the same pattern. This is a normal characteristic of the textile industry and is caused by the way different dyes interact with the fibres, rather than any difference in sizing.
We always appreciate customer feedback, but we also feel it's important to reassure future customers that our sizing has remained consistent and unchanged.

Everything is fabulous
Sturdy by design are the only running shorts/ leggings I buy. I have so many now but love them all. Every time I am asked for a review it is always the same - Love everything about company: From customer service, dispatch, packaging and the quality of the beautiful running gear. my 1st experience
This was my 1st experience of using Sturdy By Design. I got my sizing wrong initially - there's not a lot of "give" in the fabric so bear that in mind when sorting your size, however, Charlene was very helpful in explaining the exchange and suggested a design similar to my original request that I could order the appropriate size in. All sorted now but because I had to pay for return postage, it all worked out to be a bit more expensive than I hoped.
