I love my therapist and the ease with which I can schedule time with her or message her as needed!

My therapist listens to me. I know I am being heard. She gives suggestions to help resolve issues that I have been dealing with at work and with my family.

Very disappointed in how a mental health company handles situations like this.
Back in March 2026, I was unable to schedule my last session credit due to a system error. My therapist even attempted to schedule it on her end and couldn’t. I contacted chat support and was told the issue would need to be escalated. I specifically reminded them that my last credit would expire within a few days.
Time passed with no response, and the credit expired.
Over the next month, I repeatedly attempted to contact the company and received no responses. I finally reached someone through the call line (which has very inconvenient hours for anyone working full time. But this worker was kind.) and was told the original request had never actually been escalated. They assured me they would escalate it directly.
A few days later, I finally heard back, only to go back and forth with a representative who repeatedly denied restoring the credit and claimed there was no further escalation possible. The support ticket was eventually closed by this worker without any resolution.
I decided to then file a complaint through the Better Business Bureau and received two responses that still did not resolve the issue.
I find it incredibly hard to believe that there is absolutely no way to reinstate a single session credit when the issue was caused by a system error and documented before the expiration date. At this point, it feels less like inability and more like unwillingness to help.
What’s most frustrating is the amount of unnecessary stress and anxiety this process has caused from a company centered around mental health support.
I genuinely like my therapist, which is the only reason I will continue using the platform for now.
Do better, Talkspace.

I enjoy my therapy sessions and scheduling is seamless. I just wish the platform wasn’t weird when I switch audio because then I have to log out of my session and come back in.

Works with my insurance and I can receive services from the comfort of my home.

Therapy was suggested to me while I was going through a hard time in my life. I have previously experienced therapy from the outside looking in (ie. other friends talking about therapy and me noticing the changes in them). I didn’t want to become a different person or someone who analyzed my own actions mid conversation or interaction, I just needed help with this one thing! Online seemed better for me because I didn’t see myself doing this longterm, my hours are not super friendly to 9-5, and TalkSpace was covered by our insurance. Enter Nicole, who I now affectionately call teacher to others because she’s teaching me to rewire my brain to be a better version of myself that I didn’t even know I was missing or that I wanted to be! She provided perspective to things I lived and never noticed or thought about, gently explains things that may not be the most comfortable or wanted remembrances, and genuinely cares and cheers me on through the next steps in my journey to self-love, self-worth, and authenticity. All of which were not the reasons I originally came to therapy; by helping acknowledge the underlying causes of how I became the me of today, she’s helping me become a better version me for the future that I am so happy to be meeting! Thank you, isn’t enough for the guidance, care, and encouragement I’ve received over the last six months!

Talkspace has made it so easy for me to access caring, professional counseling. The app is easy to use and the counselor I have is truly outstanding. I have had the best of care and the most positive of experiences and plan to continue for a lifetime of mental and emotional well-being. This is something I would recommend for everyone.
