A scam!
I opened my account and completed all the verification requirements.
A few days later, I received a transfer of 1,500 USDT.
Since I wasn't using the funds, I decided to put them into the Earn (staking) program, which offered a good interest rate. Before doing so, I contacted customer support, and they assured me that I could withdraw the funds at any time.
However, on Saturday I decided to withdraw my money, and the funds simply disappeared. My account balance dropped to zero.
Customer support was unable to help. Apparently, nobody works on weekends, so you leave your money with them, and if something goes wrong, there's no one available to assist you.
It wasn't until Monday that customer service replied, saying they would investigate what had happened. Then, a few hours later, I received an email asking me to submit all my KYC documents again, without providing any explanation about where my funds are.
I do not recommend opening an account with TAP. It is an absolute disgrace!

I just logged in to my account to see 6,508 XTP mysteriously transferred via a transaction in March 2026 which I did not authorise. On trying to track it there was no information available so I contacted through the get help function. I was told quite bluntly that they transferred it to themselves as an inactivity fee!!!! Absolute scammers, no wonder they struggled to get regulated. Not only is that ‘fee’ disproportionate and illegal you have a duty to inform me of upcoming fees. Regardless the point of investments is to hold them until the time is right for you to sell, and I was holding because their coin tanked so much I had no choice but to wait out a hopeful rebound. This is just disgusting profiteering and I don’t believe it’s legal. Watch out they can and will access your money at any time without your knowledge and you’ll find out by accident when it’s too late and it’s all gone in their greedy pockets. Reporting to GFSC and every relevant authority.

A stakeholder/managing partner of Tap sent vulgar and threatening messages to a Tap customer in a vulnerable situation.
Upon raising these serious issues to Tap, I have received nothing but radio silence.

The individual mentioned has a well documented history with Tap and verified social media accounts.
Tap have refused to engage regarding this situation since 2024 and this is the first time they've taken a stance on the matter.

Costumer support is very good and useful.
I would like to see xtp coin on the big exchanges and the possibility to stake xtp in the tap app. I would like to tier up on tap card but i don’t put that amount of money in a coin that is not tradable.

I believe this is a scam company run by very shady individuals and I would avoid it at all costs.

Purchased over £1100 in Tap XTP Coin a few years back 2023 I logged back in and balance was zero. There explanation? Account fees of €3 per month lol! This equates to around €110 in total for the whole amount of time I had the account open!
Where has the rest of the money gone???
Ended up shutting the account with no further explanation as to wear the money invested had gone.
Please put your money in a proper bank account and keep it away from these thieves.
Tap please keep your response to yourself as getting through to a human was impossible. Corrupt company that’s for sure.
Invest in proper funds and stay well away from crypto it’s bad news.

I am extremely frustrated with Tap Global. My account has been frozen for 13 days now with absolutely no explanation. My funds are completely inaccessible, and despite multiple attempts to reach out, I am getting nowhere.
Every time I contact customer support, I am met with a scripted "so sorry for the delay" and told that the case is with the "compliance team." However, the compliance team is completely unresponsive. There has been no request for additional documentation or any timeline provided for a resolution.
It is unacceptable for a regulated financial institution to hold a customer's money hostage for nearly two weeks without providing a single update or a reason why. If you value access to your own money, stay away.

I have been a loyal customer of Tap Global for many years and have passed numerous KYC (Know Your Customer) requests in the past without a single issue. There is absolutely no reason for my account to be flagged.
Despite this, I have been completely locked out of my account since January 27th.
Every time I try to log in, the app is stuck on a "Processing" screen claiming it can take "up to 72 hours." That deadline passed days ago. I am effectively blocked from accessing my own money.
To make matters worse, their support is ghosting me:
1. I have sent 3 separate emails to support.
2. I finally received one automated reply promising a response within "24 hours max." That was a lie. That deadline has long passed with zero follow-up.
Because I cannot log in, I cannot even access the in-app support. You have walled me off from my assets. Withholding funds from a long-term, verified customer without explanation is essentially criminal behavior.
Do not put your money here. If they can do this to a loyal user, they will do it to you.
Update: since posting this review my account has been reconnected and there are no more issues

I contacted Tap Global support for the first time on December 30, 2025 regarding my locked, fully verified Gibraltar account. As of January 12, 2026, I have received no response and no solution, despite several follow-up emails. I currently have funds in the account that I cannot access, which is unacceptable for a regulated financial service. The issue relates to an access code problem and requires a manual review, but support has been completely unresponsive. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of customer support and communication. I hope this review helps escalate the case and prompts Tap Global to finally address this issue.
Update (Jan 12, 2026):
Tap has replied publicly stating they cannot locate my account or prior support requests. I want to clarify that all emails were sent from the email address linked to my Tap account. I contacted support again today from the same registered email, but the account remains locked and funds are still inaccessible after 10+ days. This review will be updated once the issue is properly resolved.
Update (Jan 12, 2026):
Tap Support has now contacted me and restored access to my account, and my funds are available again.
I appreciate the resolution and the courteous response once contact was established. That said, it took several days to receive a reply, which caused unnecessary concern while the account was inaccessible. Clearer communication around support channels would have helped avoid the delay.
Issue resolved.
