Professional, kind helpful enjoyable... You name it 🙂
24/7, robot's speech relatively short and voila, ring ring and a human being ready to help
Not to be compared with other services, a different universe. Thank you 👍
Website promotes ease of use and product value. Tello has removed tiers from their plans. Either for limited or excessive data and voice. Less available options tailoring a custom plan.
Previously, I would've rated them near 5-stars. But recent changes to their pricing plans have me extremely disappointed. They previously allowed rollover data, but in order to keep that now, we must pay a higher price, rather than the grandfathered price. Very disappointing.
You lost the number / account Darlene Witty whose number was (802) 393-9172,
She has a new number now.
She did making three attempts to pay for the numbrer.
Tello is great. But I’m not. I needed a lot of advice to figure it out: from friends, from other users and from many calls to the ever patient HUMAN reps.
Please keep the humans.
For about 3 weeks I was trying to connect my smart watch to my new phone and port anther phone from Google Fi. So Tello customer service asked me to call them to get help to activate the phone. I called and a friendly voice (her name Ivana) answered and patiently started to direct me what to do. I am 86 with poor hearing but she managed to slowly explain what and where to tap on confusing screen to get the job done. It would be great that live agents at Google Fi or other places to have at least 50% of Ivana qualities. It would be fair to mention that Tello is quite easy to get in touch with and not given a run around like most other businesses.
Never answer the phone and don’t respond to emails. Exhausted trying to get answers. And I’m not even a customer yet! Suggest looking elsewhere
Great Price!
For the price of this service, I am shocked at the quality of the phone service.
So far it has been better than other services that charge double or triple.
Prive, Value and Convenience. Fabulaous User Dasboard that I can use and have complete control and flexibility for my Mobile Phone/Data Account!

I'll be honest: Tello didn't work out for me — but that's on the technical requirements, not on the company.
I'm based outside the US and bought a plan hoping to activate the eSIM remotely. Turns out activation requires connecting to a US tower at least once, so if you're abroad with no US trip planned, this won't work for you. Keep that in mind before purchasing.
That said, the way Tello handled it deserves five stars on its own. Their support replied fast, didn't give me any runaround, and processed my refund quickly and without any drama — something many companies could learn from. It's rare to see a provider treat a customer this fairly when the sale doesn't work out.
If you live in the US (or can activate there first), I'd genuinely recommend Tello — affordable plans and a support team that actually cares. If I'm ever in the States, they'll be my first choice.
Tello is super easy to use, very dependable and will recommend especially with the custom-built plan pricing. Paying for what I want and not paying for things I don't like, data usage vs minutes/SMS
Mirvia - the rep who assisted me was great. My phone not working for a few days was a bit rough, as I missed some important calls but the CS rep was very thorough and kind.
great and affordable , very easy to use , such a complicated experience made easy for any one with any needs of a number and package
Your representative could NOT fix the problem over several days of trying to unlock my account which was the result of two unauthorized, fraudulent purchases having been made on it: 1) Plan changed and 2) SIM card ordered. These fake charges were reported the same day they occurred. Hours were spent trying to restore my Tello service. Needing my phone to work on a trip, I gave up, left Tello and ported my number to another service.

Easy to work with. Affordable and flexible.
Very accommodating support line with actual (knowledgeable) humans at the other end.
The quality and patience of Arian was super appropriate and appreciated.
