Dishonest from the outset and passed on my data, I'll go elsewhere

They offer an instant, free, indicative quote online with a few details (house type, size, number of panels, basic usage info). Once they take your contact details they don't give you a quote but arrange a call with a random third party that you didn't ask for, and in my case didn't want. I never saw the phantom quote.

Aggressive Spam Experts !

This company fails to realise that sometime you just want to make a simple enquiry & when provided with answers to your enquires, request that you are not contacted any further as you are not interested in the service or marketing. Multiple phones calls from rude operators who just try to speak over you when you request no further contact. Daily email spam despite unsubscribing from the site. They may consider themselves Eco Experts, but what they are not is experts in how to treat or maintain customers.

1 Star – Misleading “Instant Quote” Process & Poor Phone Experience

I recently filled out a form on The Eco Experts website because it clearly suggested I would receive an instant solar quote via email.

The process asked for detailed information including my postcode, home ownership status, and even required me to pinpoint my roof location on a map, which made it seem like they were using data to generate an automated estimate.

However, after submitting my details, instead of receiving any quote by email, I received an unexpected phone call around 30 minutes later.

During the call, I was told that they could not provide any estimate without first conducting a survey. This completely contradicts how the website positions the process as quick and instant. If a survey is always required, this should be made clear upfront instead of encouraging users to share personal details under the impression of receiving an immediate quote.

The experience was made worse by the call handler’s behaviour. While he addressed me politely on the surface, his tone was dismissive, interruptive, and increasingly aggressive once he realised I was not interested in proceeding with a survey. I repeatedly had to ask him to let me finish speaking.

The call ended abruptly with no proper closure, which felt unprofessional and disrespectful.

This experience felt like a data capture exercise rather than a genuine instant quote service, and the lack of transparency was frustrating and misleading.

I would advise others to be aware that:
• You may not receive any instant quote despite what the website suggests
• You will likely receive sales calls instead
• You may be pushed towards surveys even if you only wanted a preliminary estimate

Transparency and customer experience need serious improvement.

WhatsApp spam

Spammed me with messages about my solar panels, when I haven't got any, and I have never given this company my number! Highly suspicious

Update: 5 days later I get a spam text from The Eco Experts :/
And suddenly 8 spam phone calls in the last 4 days... all seems rather fishy Eco Experts.

Spam callers!!!

Keep contacting me via different numbers even though I keep blocking them and asking them to delete my number from their system. I did not contact them to begin with. Clearly spammy!!!!

Obvious scam

Obvious scam. When my wife said she wasn’t interested, the caller stated that’s not the answer to the question he asked. When I challenged him he called me a “tot he used to take advantage of in the playground” lol

Total harrassment

This company probably sold my phone number as I got endless cold calls after registering with them. I told every caller to remove me from the list. Some were nice, so some were not. The calls are ongoing and come from a variety of different numbers. I have not managed to put a stop to it yet!

Waste of time and just a scam to get…

Waste of time and just a scam to get details to sell.

Their website advertises a couple of minutes to get you heat pump quote, they take all your details then then, no quote, instead they essentially tell you we've sold your details at another company and they will now spam call you trying to do hard sell.

AVOID, ITS A SCAM/SPAM SITE

Rude and unprofessional.

Following research into heat pump prices via quotes they have repeatedly phoned me despite me saying I'm not interested in proceeding with a quote.

I have asked for my details to be removed multiple times and this clearly has not been done.

On this morning's occasion I explained that they keep contacting me despite my request for them not to and instead of dealing with the problem, they simply hung up.

Strange Advertising

I just do not understand the advertising? They ask "why everyone is talking about solar panels" at the moment? But I don't know of anyone, friends, work colleagues, casual acquaintances who are talking about solar panels. It's a mystery that I just cannot fathom.

Immediately had two scam calls a day…

Immediately had two scam calls a day since giving my number. Also had phone spoofing which I've never had before and I rarely give my number out. When I search for the call origination is says Everest but I've checked with Everest and it isn't. they've blatantly sold my data or providers attached to them have. I can't think of another explanation.

This whole thing is suspect

This whole thing is suspect. They continually put up apparently interesting article titles that appear on online news areas. When you click you just get their page enticing you to request a quote and then be bombarded by companies who really should know better than to be associated with this type of selling.
