Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 81 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers reported significant issues with product quality, noting items like silver jewelry tarnishing quickly, breaking easily, or arriving scratched and faulty. Reviewers frequently experienced unhelpful and unresponsive customer service, with complaints about difficulty getting repairs, refunds, or even basic assistance. People often felt the products were overpriced given the poor quality and lack of durability, often incurring additional costs for repairs that should have been covered. However, some customers also noted that certain products were beautiful, had nice quality, and were perfect for their needs. A few other people also felt that the service was exceptional, with staff being friendly, professional, and going above and beyond to assist them.

Tiffany & Co. Exceptional Service

Karen Hasbani provided exceptional service from start to finish. She was professional, responsive and went above and beyond to make a special birthday gift a memorable experience. Her attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm made the entire process effortless and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Tiffany & Co. is fortunate to have someone like Karen representing their brand.

Zero stars from this luxury brand.

If I could give zero stars I would. What an awful service. I received a Necklace from Tiffany which wasn’t to my liking. I arranged a refund and used the UPS label provided by Tiffany to return the parcel to a local shop where it was accepted into the system. Nearly one month and countless emails to Tiffany later, it never progressed through the network and still appears to be in the shop I delivered it to.

Tiffany are aware of this and keep fobbing me off with emails to say they’re checking with UPS and will update me on the progress… surpassing any resolution date set. I am being made to wait whilst they conduct their investigation when in reality.. I have fulfilled my obligation by returning the parcel using the method they set. Their issue sits with UPS as the agreement was that I returned the parcel which I have. I still have no end date, and nobody else but the initial person that I spoke to, is willing to take ownership and give me back my £300. I had originally wanted an exchange but this had completely put me off.

Where can I go from here?

Would score a zero if I could for…

Would score a zero if I could for Tiffany customer service. Purchased a sterling silver ring with a dangling charm locket on it. It has broke 4 times since 2019. Each time it is my expense to get it repaired, Tiffany will not. They won’t even pay for shipping once they repair it, at a price of over $120 each time. I love the ring so much that I keep getting it fixed. I finally took it to my local jeweler for repair for a fraction of the cost of what Tiffany charged. I am appalled that they do not stand behind their product. Each time customer service is rude and unapologetic. They say it is wear and tear. I guess I should just carry my Tiffany jewelry around in the blue box and not wear it. DO NOT waste your money on Tiffany! They do not care about their customers. This is not the premium elegant company it once was. Tiffany has lost my business.

poor quality, item broke in 3 weeks and they what to charge for repair

Brought a bracelet as a gift for someone and 3 weeks later the clasp broke, when I contacted customer service sending photos they said it’s bent so must have got caught on something - it’s not bent the photo shows it’s fallen off and it wasn’t caught it’s just poor quality, they said they can repair for £80 which is completely out of order given the bracelet had only been used for 3 weeks. Won’t be buying again, poor quality on what are expensive products. And they really don’t care about the customer.

Multiple steps along the way resulted…

Multiple steps along the way resulted in a negative experience with Tiffany Customer Service. They used to provide excellent service but no longer. A few examples: I was informed I would receive the repaired item in two days but instead I receive a computer generated invoice with missing information including a description of the needed repairs and a link to submit payment. I was required to call several times and each time was put a a lengthy hold. After calling the issues remained! Please, Tiffany & Company, do an overhaul of your client services.

I purchased a silver heart and chain…

I purchased a silver heart and chain from Tiffany for £275.00 when it arrived chain was tarnished badly ..customer service said because the weather was hot the chain was tarnished..anyway I was not happy and sent the item back via courier on the 3rd June.. now they say they have not received it and refusing refund until item received! It is their courier UPS their qr code they sent me...Tiffany should refund this straight away ! Anyway upshot is they have fobbed me off basically and I have had to raise a visa dispute to possibly get some money back..poor customer service from a high end brand not only their chains tarnished but their reputation ! Its not like I ordered from Temu! Probably better customer service ..you try to buy something special for a special occasion and thats where I have ended up ..no necklace and no money to buy something else ! Congratulations To Tiffany on your non existent customer care !

Paloma Picasso Olive Ring

within hrs of my daughter receiving this for her 21st birthday the ring had lost its shine. Tiffany offered to clean it for her, which i said was no good as i didnt want to continuously pay for it to be cleaned. over the next day or so the ring turned more tarnished and dull looking. I then contacted them again and asked for a refund, which they did. I was really disappointed with the quality as this was meant to have been a special birthday gift.

I am incredibly disappointed

I am incredibly disappointed with my experience at Tiffany & Co., Westport.

Honestly, the experience started off poorly from the moment I walked in. The first thing the customer service representative said to me was asking for my ID. There was no greeting, no introduction, and she didn't even ask my name. It immediately felt cold and impersonal.

I had brought in a ring that I purchased in October because it had ripped open and almost took my finger off. Considering the ring was only a few months old, I was already shocked and concerned that it had failed in that way. When the ring was returned to me, it was in even worse condition than when I dropped it off and was actually broken in half. I was then told that the ring was now considered unrepairable and that Tiffany could do absolutely nothing for me.

I completely understand that not every situation can be fixed, but what really upset me was the complete lack of empathy and customer service. I repeatedly asked if there was anything they could do. Was there a warranty? A replacement option? A discount on a new ring? A store credit? Any type of goodwill gesture? Every question was met with the same response: "There's nothing we can do."

When I asked to speak with a manager, I got the exact same answer. At one point, while I was clearly upset and trying to understand my options, the representative was giggling. I cannot describe how frustrating it was to be standing there with a ring that was only a few months old, being told there was no solution, while feeling like my concerns weren't being taken seriously.

I even tried offering solutions myself. I asked if they could provide a discount on a replacement ring or even clean some of my other Tiffany jewelry as a simple gesture of goodwill. Instead, I was told they could sell me a new ring at full price. When I said I was willing to look into that option, they checked and discovered the ring was out of stock. I was then asked if there was anything else I liked "within my price range," which felt incredibly tone-deaf given the situation.

The part that bothers me most is that I wasn't looking for something unreasonable. I wasn't demanding a free ring. I was simply hoping that a company like Tiffany would make some effort to help a loyal customer who had just been told that a ring purchased less than a year ago could not be repaired.

I left feeling completely dismissed, embarrassed, and far more upset than when I arrived. Good customer service isn't always about fixing the problem—sometimes it's about showing empathy and making a genuine effort to help. Unfortunately, I experienced neither.

This interaction completely changed my opinion of Tiffany & Co. I expected much better from a brand that prides itself on luxury and customer experience. Sadly, I will not be purchasing from Tiffany again, and I will be sharing this experience with others so they know what to expect if something goes wrong with their jewelry.

Tiffany Ring NOW has broke twice

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Tiffany & Co.

I purchased a ring because of Tiffany's reputation for quality, craftsmanship, and luxury. Unfortunately, the ring has now required repair more than once under what I consider normal wear. When I contacted Tiffany to discuss the issue, I was told that the damage was due to wear and that I would be responsible for paying for another repair.

What I find most concerning is that a piece of jewelry costing hundreds of dollars is apparently not expected to hold up to regular use. If a ring becomes broken and misshapen through normal wear, that raises serious questions about durability and value.

I also asked whether there were any options for exchange, trade-in, replacement, or customer accommodation given my history with the brand. The answer was no. The only options offered were to pay for another repair or have the damaged ring returned as-is.

Over the years, I have purchased multiple Tiffany items as gifts because I believed I was paying for superior quality. After this experience, I no longer feel confident that the premium price reflects premium durability or customer service.

Luxury brands are built not only on beautiful designs but also on standing behind their products and customers. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with Tiffany & Co.

Tiffanys is NO longer the Tiffany of…

Tiffanys is NO longer the Tiffany of old. BUYERS BEWARE!!
I have a large, right Elsa Peretti bone cuff in sterling silver. I decided to purchase a matching one for my left wrist for over three thousand dollars.
I ordered it online and had it shipped to my place in Florida, as I spend winters down south.
When I returned home to NYC, 4 months later, I compared it to the right wrist cuff I already own. The new cuff is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than the same item I purchased a few years earlier! More importantly, it does NOT measure 95 cm in width as advertised!!!
I contacted Tiffany's, showed them a picture of the two..I didnt even want a refund, I merely want to EXCHANGE it for one that IS actually the same width as they advertise and one that matches my existing one.
Despite my receiving a product that is deceptive in terms of the dimensions on the website, they refuse to exchange it as it is outside the 30 day return period.
I'm not asking for a return, I just want the product I receive to accurately reflect what Tiffany's advertises on its website. DESPICABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING.

Utterly Poor - Dont part with your hard earned with these idiots

Bought 2 rings for my wife at £8300. Instore service very good. Receipt emailed, and contained another of their customers name / addresses. A clear breach of data protection.
Called them 4 occasions to be promised a call back from the New Bond Street Store, nothing.
Wrote in to complain; 1 follow up email back saying we are looking into it, that was over 1 week ago.
Spoke to another client care team (LOL!) today promised be a call back form the store to sort. Nada.

Called the above guy back telling him to escalate the complaint to his manager. Waiting on a call back tomorrow, shall I just say I am not holding my breath.

Have decided to get a refund, and buy elsewhere, and about to make an appointment to see them in store.

Would close by saying, their CS is truly utter BS, they have no clue and care even less.
DONT BUY FROM TFFANY!

Tiffany @ selfridges London

Went to the store in selfridges London. Alain was superb and I can’t rate him highly enough for how he treated me and my daughter who only came for a repair. Went back to collect it this week and saw a different man in a muscle type top and the service was totally different. He didn’t even put his gloves on to touch my repaired jewellery. He was so rude and dismissive, the store general manage said he was shocked as this man has worked there for 4 years!!! You need some secret shoppers because this employee doesn’t fit your brand at all and we’ve visited stores in NYC and Birmingham and have never be treated like this. If you need to shop there see Alain, he used to work at Cartier.

I wish my wife would have checked the…

I wish my wife would have checked the reviews before buying an expensive bracelet there for me.
It turns, that i did not like it, there was a little few words behind, though we did not wear it, so they could have polish the bracelet and remove the words, minus some money that i would have been prepared easily to pay. Instead of this, they argued on a policy that they never gave to my wife. So at the end, there are 2 bracelets sleeping in our safe, nothing more that this brand deserves, one sure thing i wont ever to go them...wishing that this review will help a buyer to realise that nothing is expected from these people
