I've just chucked my Timex in the dustbin after 1 year and a bit use . Customers services said I could have it repaired if I was to wait up to 3 months . I feel sorry for the staff at customers services there hands are tied . So please please buy a watch that's going to last . Do you remember the days when watches used to last .

Rubbish company ripping you off by selling faulty watches.

This company sells the customer a watch that within a month will have a flat battery and a broken strap. The blue back light wastes battery power as it keeps turning itself on. When you ask for help, it is a clear "NO". Instead the customer is expected to send the watch for repair at their own cost. They do not care about the fact they have sold the customer a broken, rubbish watch. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS SELFISH COMPANY AT ALL. They do not even acknowledge a one year guarantee. Avoid this company as it hates it's customers.

Orderd a watch for myself

Orderd a watch for myself, DHL said it had been delivered and I'd signed for it but I was working!!! Avoid Timex Repair Service!

Avoid sending your watch to Timex repair center. The customer service is incredibly frustrating and poor, I’d give it negative stars if I could. The wait times are ridiculously long, and nobody will get back to you with any meaningful status. I sent in a watch for a simple battery replacement, figuring, the site says it’s $18, and free shipping, ok its Timex, they'll be fast, change the battery, and I'll have my watch back in about a week or so. Boy, was I wrong!
Nope, I've been waiting 2 months now, and have contacted them multiple times. The first go around they said, oh fill all this stuff out about the watch, I said wait, you sent me an RMA number, can’t you just look it up yourself, here is the RMA number? Nope, wasn’t good enough, then they needed the exact same info I sent on the RMA form, which they require you to send with the watch. Then they said later, ‘we need the tracking number on the package’, I guess to prove I sent it to them. I was like, what? you have the RMA number, nope, they said they needed the tracking number to prove I wasn’t lying. Ok, that’s a week of back and forth on that one. But whatever, here you go. Then they said oh, it was sent to our offshore center, they will contact you. They could have just told me that in the first place. And of course, the offshore center is anyone’s guess as to what country that could be located in. The center never contacted me after waiting yet another few weeks. I then again contacted them, and now they are like, oh, it’s $30, not $18.
I am still waiting for the repair even after paying them. I would avoid them if at all possible. Unfortunately, where I live doesn’t have a watch repair place. I’d recommend taking your watch to decent local repair center and save yourself aggravation and expense.

Disappointing

Great price. Arrived quickly, order was for three watches, two had dead batteries. Contacted Timex, was told go to store and get new one, period. So you purchase watch then have to purchase new battery. Very disappointing, you would expect to get a working watch with purchase

Timex products are unreliable; warranty worthless

Timex watches are unreliable and the warranty is worthless. The last two Timex watches I've purchased new on Amazon have failed totally within a year. Times makes you jump through hoops to get warranty service, then won't repair or replace the one you brought; instead they offer a different cheapo, probably remaindered, watch as replacement. Totally unacceptable. The Timex of the 20th century is gone. I would not buy Timex products anymore.

Bought a Timex watch in Ontario

Bought a Timex watch in Ontario, Canada -- brought it home to Australia. The watch fell off my night table - and that killed it ... good to 100 meters depth, but don't drop it 2 feet! Tried dealing with Timex - Arthur -- was like dealing with a robot - would not honour the warrantee (dropping = ABUSE!!). The proof of purchase I provided was NOT accepted (Visa card). They were not open to any negotiation .... will never buy a Timex again (recommend Casio!!).

I bought a timex watch

I bought a timex watch. It stopped working after four months. It came with a three year warranty. I asked for a replacement but was told I had to send the watch back to Italy for repair. Timex would not pay the cost of the postage which was €11. Every time I ask for an update on the repair they tell me they are waiting for the parts to come in. It’s been two and a half months and I still haven’t got my watch back. I would not recommend timex. Their customer service is very bad and their guarantee means nothing.

I purchased a solar TIMEX watch via Amazon (11/12/25) but SUPPORTED by TIMEX INTERNATIONAL out of Lakewood, New Jersey (or close by location) The watch came with NO MANUAL and I was told I needed to copy the 58 pages (-can you believe this?) myself for usage. NIXED that in one "heartbeat". RETURNED IT within 48 hours. Amazon actually had to pressure them as a 3rd party to refund my money JUST TODAY.

Extremely Suspicious Operation – I Never Received My Order

I wish I had checked the reviews before ordering.

I never received my item, and every message from this company has been the same copy-and-paste delay tactic. They keep telling me to “wait” while offering zero updates and refusing to issue a refund.

My experience matches what many other reviewers reported: endless stalling, no delivery, and no resolution. After 14 weeks of excuses, it became clear they were just dragging things out until I’d give up.

Based on my experience and what I’ve seen in other reviews, I strongly advise others to stay away. I am now pursuing a chargeback through my bank because the company would not return my money.

Avoid this seller. It’s simply not worth the risk.

Poor experience

The watch looks good and is exactly what I wanted. The date was difficult to set with random dates appearing but I got to the right number eventually. Then the watch froze after a few days. I turned the hour hand to reset the time, but the dates just kept appearing randomly again but the watch seemed to be working with the second hand going round. Then it stopped again after a few hours. I realise that these things happen but I have to say that the after sales service from Timex has been atrocious. They just reply with computer generated answers. I'm writing this purchase off as a bad experience not to be repeated.

Had my Timex Easy Reader watch for 8…

Had my Timex Easy Reader watch for 8 days. The leather band completely fell apart. My guess a Chinese contribution to this mistake I bought. Customer Service is a joke and would not send me a replacement band. What they would do is ship me a new watch once this one is returned and that I should expect a replacement within 3 months! At one point these watches were suppose to take a licking and still be beating. The only thing that's being beat is the consumer. This piece of garbage will be in the garbage all because of a watch band that they wouldn't replace after 8 days use.

Purchased a Timex Ironman watch direct from the Timex website in the UK. Wore it for 2 weeks. Wore it in the bath a couple of times. Water ingress into the display. Watch now unusable. Tried to return but their process is a (deliberate) pain in the butt. So, decided to just throw the watch out with the trash and write of the £90.
