Tovala has really helped me as a single mom to be able to eat the delicious home-cooked meals that I like with very minimal effort and I’m not wasting food because my daughter is so picky and eats a separate dinner every night anyways. The Customer Service has been incredible. The ingredients are extremely high-quality and the meals are always delicious! I love that I’m getting such a variety of cuisine without the planning effort! Choosing meals every week in the app almost feels like ordering fancy takeout, so then I’m not tempted to waste money on things like UberEats. Honestly, I’ve saved so much money since switching to Tovala! Delivery food always comes soggy and Tovala is fresh, home-cooked after about two minutes of prep (five minutes at the most if there is an extra prep step), and satisfies like takeout from a nice restaurant or a perfect home-cooked meal. I honestly couldn’t recommend this service enough.

I love my Tovala Smart Oven Pro (with steam). I cooks and reheats perfectly. Reheating day-old bread sticks? The combination of baking with steam revived them as if they were fresh. I love the Tovala meal deliveries, as well. Most meals have some prep. But I've found that prep takes less than a minute from package to oven. Scanning a barcode on the included instruction card is a set-and-forget feature I love. Cook time is roughly 20 minutes from scan to done. I've even cooked a few of the chefs' recipes from the app with easy prep and 1 button press to perfectly cook them. They even have some grocery store items in their database you can scan and automatically cook. I'm a fan!

I’ve been using Tovala for the last 4 to 5 years prices have gone up and customer service has gone downhill

I I changed my payment method using the app and then the next morning noticed that it was not changed as pending charges were on that original payment method. I then emailed them and ask their support to change the payment method. They said they were unable to change when the final post occurs on Thursday at noon.

I’ve reached out and left a poor review on Tovala’s Facebook page without any false accusations and no profanity and they blocked me from their Facebook page they then also blocked me from Facebook messenger, so I cannot get a hold of them. I will call them next cause I know where their corporate office is in Chicago..

They’ve lost a customer of 4 to 5 years which is about $600 per month for the last 4 to 5 years that I spend with them and because they would not change my payment they have put me in financial situation this week.

Poor, poor, poor poor, poor customer service if you cannot do your job of helping your customer resolve an issue

Also blocking customers that leave a poor review is a sign of a shady business. I would think twice before using Tovala and look at the other companies with smart ovens and food packs..

Stay away from Tovala. They used to be great, but they’re not so much anymore. I don’t know what happened to their service and their support but it is terrible.

I love Tovala meals and I am happy with Veho delivery. I like the text notifications. It is very helpful for me to have a picture of the Delivery. I’ve been a customer for over a year and get deliveries most weeks. Most are wonderful. One time the package was left at the side door by the driver. That was difficult to hunt down. Customer service at Tovalapromptly refunded the meals. I live in an apartment complex. The building has at least eight doors. It never occurred to me that the driver would not use the main door where deliveries are placed. But as I said most weeks, the delivery is perfect. I love Tovala meals. I wish they did their own delivery, but Veho is doing a great job.

I tried several prepared meal plans and finally found Tovala. I like the fact that the protien is packed separately and generally not precooked. We have enjoyed almost all meals. I really like the fact that the seasoning is optional because we do not like spicy food at all. We had one delivery that Fedex delivered a day late, and most of the ice was melted. Tovala gave us a full refund. Generally the oven works pretty well and the scan codes are pretty accurate although sometimes cooking multiple meals makes the meals in the back a little overcooked. Only had a problem with one item overflowing the tin, sent photos and got a partial refund.

I have been ordering from Tovala for the past 4+ years, over 350 meals. There are very few that I wouldn't order again. I have shared my experience with many friends and several are now enjoying Tovala, too.

It’s great if it is cooking just for one person. Each meal cooks for about 20 minutes Not worth for two or more people.

The food is very good but there are frequently too few vegetables and too much salt.

I love the convenience of preparation and that the food arrives quickly and fresh. I like being able to cook the protein items and not have them pre-cooked. Other meal services for one person come already cooked taste like left-overs the day they arrive. Tovala does not because you cook it at home. Service is reliable and customer service is excellent. Food is of high quality.

The oven is amazing and easy to use. The meals are very easy to cook with simple step by step instructions. Most meals only have 3-5 steps which consists of separating trays or pulling the film off lol

I am very satisfied with their meals most of the time. They have a wide selection that you could choose from. They also offer extra meat and a few other items each week to add on to your meals if it’s not enough, especially for men. I love all their crabcakes and Italian dishes. They’re usually really good. I am impressed with the variety of selection that they do have and the consistency of the food.

I like the food, the delivery is reliable, the prices a bit high for me, I would like to see more of healthy veggies, like spinach, kale, beets,etc. Instead of so many green been.
I had issues with the oven. The 1st one worked for a few months then it stopped scanning. I received another one very quickly, within just a few days, but the replacement stopped scanning on the second day (can't remember the date), besides loosing vapor from the door, and burns the food. I think that they must be refurbished, instead of new ovens. I notified the company twice, a few month ago, with no response.

By FAR the best meal service and I have tried many. The food is fresh and cooks extremely easy to a quality I could never reproduce. 10/10 best quality of life improvement for the cost you can do

Great oven. Great food. Reasonable price

The food is only decent, but everything must be cooked in their specialty oven.

The main issue I have with them. The delivery company. They can't follow simple instructions. Living in the south, the temperatures on my front porch can get into the hundreds quickly and they have a large delivery window. It's roughly 5 to 6 hours wide. My instructions were to simply ring the doorbell. Drop it off. Ring my doorbell so that my food doesn't sit in the hot temperatures for 4 to 5 hours. Tovala. didn't really seem to care too much about my concern, which was food safety. Raw protein, especially fish sitting in the hot sun for that length of time, can't be safe.
And as a final thought, I canceled 6 days before the next order. But I still got charged for the next week's meal and they dropped it off, failed once again to ring my doorbell, and it sat in a hot sun for who knows how long.

The meals are delicious and easy to make. Although it may seem expensive it costs less than buying all the ingredients at the store where you have left over items that go bad. Definitely costs less than eating out and is so convenient. The oven is also high quality and I’ve been able to get rid of my air fryer that was taking up space in my counter. I do love the scan feature which makes it so easy to cook the food. I highly recommend this.

Tovala is a unique meal delivery service. The supplied oven is a gem for making meal preparation easy and accurate! The oven is also useful on the days I don't prepare Tovala meals. The food is absolutely delicious, and easy to prepare with fresh ingredients for main and side dishes. Sometimes I'm even able to make two meals out of one because portions are very generous! I've tried a couple of other meal delivery programs, but Tovala is far and above the best of the best!
