It was a good experience to book tickets for train+bicycles (Nl-D) through Happyrail. Once you understand how it works it is very easy!
Just be aware when booking bicycles that you add the right number (in my case 2), as you also can book f.e. 2 tickets and 1 bicycle.

Convenient and easy to access. I had been struggling to book my itinerary through Eurail and Happyrail was a last minute savior in a family trip. Such a relief this service came through without delays or tech issues.

Easy to book, complete information

One of the few sites that allows you to make the obligatory reservations for some Interrail journeys (e.g. Frecciarossa in Italy). Select this option by clicking on the 'tickets' button, and select 'reservation' from the options

The booking process for Switzerland was somewhat difficult with the Happy Rail site, which, at times, would override what I was attempting to book with old data. My needs were simple, 2 saver day passes and a number of seat reservations. I spent between 3 and 4 hours to complete all the bookings because the information would keep on changing. The solution that finally worked for me was to delete all the Happy Rail cookies, so that the system couldn't erroneously reuse old cached data.

It was easy to select destination, hotel and train. In every step you choose you can see the actual price. Booking process was smooth.

Treinreiswinkel is doing a great job! There is so much need for a trustworthy platform for train travel, in Europe it’s very fragmented concerning the many countries with their own booking system. Treinreis winkel is unite them all to a very convenient system for all your traintravel. It’s much easier to book your tickets, for example from Kiruna to Athens. It is all possible with much lesser stress than booking separate by the train companies in all the different countries. When having questions you have a easy point of contact instead of many.

Easy and clean booking, only wish the system would remember the personal data put in when clicking out of the personal data window to change something.

Best place to book train tickets, Interrail passes and the corresponding reservations. The layout of the overview under "My account" can be improved though - the rounded boxes should also include the green "download" and the "cancel" buttons, to make clear to which ticket they belong. But that's the only reason not to give 5 stars.

The experience was more or less straight forward, but to only in the end find out there's a 2,5% fee (there is already a fee for using them and not booking it directly at the railway company) for using mastercard or visa which makes it more expensive than other platforms. Still it's the only platform I could find where I was able to book a reservation for the train I needed, so that's where the 1 star are coming from

Also they asked me to write this review to enter a giveaway which is already over! Not cool and also against the rules of Trustpilot.

Shows local, cheap and quick train routes. Very nice.

Easy way of planning(100%) and booking(most) of an international train-trip.
The app (HappyRail) and the browser (treinreiswinkel.nl) are synced for the data and therefore easy for using on more than one device.
If purchasing certain tickets are out of reach there is a link to the local provider to book.
So far a good central point to start your trip abroad.

At first I had difficulties finding the right train. When I booked, I was pleased. But I want an 'Anytime Single' for the return ticket and I don't know how to book it. The AI wasn't helpful.

I am travelling with interrail global pass and it was super easy to book only seat reservation for my trip in Spain!!!

Booking a train trip has neven been so easy. All the trains, all the alternatives and all the options at your fingertips! Happyrail does it all. No need to consult different operator's apps any more.

It is nice that hapoy rail also do reserveringen. I was suprised.
No you can book any travel with the train, with or without interrail.
