I became interested because topics were addressed that are never usually discussed.
Typical daily little issues (leading calm to the field, seperation from the group, working under experienced conditions ect.) which cause in the end to tension through complete trainings and the relationship.
Never did video trainings before and I'm that impressed about the effectiveness and result, within a short time.
BUT as always, you have to try and repeat.
Even it does not directly work, troubleshootings are given. Implementing just short repetitions in my daily routines cause more and more little positive results to get my horse in relaxation and me to a new mindset, even after decades handling horses.
This methode improves as well "longlasting riders" with highly trained older horses.
It is the modern way of comunication with horses.

Recommended. We joined TRT during the first covid lockdown, on a friend's recommendation. When we added up how much we were spending on "traditional" training, it was good value. It has expanded and improved since, and much of the new content has been free to existing members. Every activity tried on our five horses has worked as intended. A bit daunting at first, but once progress is underway, it's rapid!

Applying your way to touch the horse in different areas and, after a reaction of the horse, to stay present to give him the work to digest his reaction. Between others , a remarkable reaction what, as I know, is a stress release reaction: appearance of lot of saliva and mastication, head down.
His calming down was amazing.
It was afterwards calm, trusting.
The process towards stabilisation of calmness still goes on, but already now, thank you for your work of great help!

I joined The TRT method because I wanted to start my own 2 horses.
It will gide you through the different steps. If you have questions you can ask them in the community.
The response time on the question from a moderator takes sometimes a few days and if you react on the reactions below your post you don't always get an answer. But from other members is quicker. Maybe I have to tag someone?
For now I am very curious about how the process of starting my young horse will continue.

The TRT method helped me when I got stuck with my young horse. The human learning and delivery to the horse was incremental and worked to calm my very sensitive mare. Directing energy at the space not my mare was so such a simple fix for some of my issues. I highly recommend the TRT method. Value for money as well.

I started T R T training when I felt alone and over horsed by my 16.3hh warmblood.Due to only having one eye, she was full of fear and continuously imposing on my space rearing it was dangerous. I began this course, and I'm pleased to say the behaviour stopped and she become my best friend. I'm now using the young horse modules for her 2 offspring and fully enjoying training them.I highly recommend this course for anyone with any type of horse or pony. I have been following TRT method for a number of years and have found it invaluable in handling and training my young warmbloods from foals to under saddle and beyond.

The TRT Method program is amazing training and supreme support and so much contact and active staff support. This business is all about positive training of horses and supporting clients through every exercise and challenge. The training modules, community groups, and live Q&A and printable worksheets and quides are so supportive. The cost is reasonable for average income. Tristin is so clear and thorough in demostrating and explaining his training with many videos and case studies.

Tristan and his team, through the courses and curated Q&A sessions, have been a huge help to me and my horses. Tristan's approach resonated with me when I started to see his social posts at a time when I was struggling with the horse I ride most, That was over two years ago and through following Tristan's approach I've not just been able to form a better connection with my horse, but also found a better horseman within myself.

The way his approach is set out through remote learning is easy to navigate and the video content is well explained. I love TRT and the videos <3 and having a community to get real live feedback is just amazing. At first I knew that I liked TRT, but never wanted to spend the time to watch the videos and learn. I would highly recommend Tristan and the TRT method. This method completely transformed my horse from being crazy nervous and not being able to do anything with him to him being able to understand that he can relax on his own. The more you practice it and watch the videos, the more knowledge you will get out of it and the more you will understand it. It took me a bit to really understand what Tristan was looking for and that I wasn't controlling his calm but allowing him to find his calm. Once I figured that out, everything clicked. That came from me watching and analyzing what he was doing and looking for in the horse every time he sent out a video of him working on the horse. I love that I can rewatch the online course and then go out and practice. I have learned so much from TRT, and I am building a relationship with my horse I never had before. I only wish I had found Tristan and the TRT method sooner. I highly, highly recommend his courses.

I bought a 2.5 year old whose body was a little too big for his brain. It was a different experience starting him than with other horses I've brought along. Signing up for TRT helped me gain confidence on the ground and helped him find his balance. He's now 3.5 years old and going well under saddle and he enjoys his time with people which is the most important thing. Well worth the investment as the insight you gain will be with you forever.

I got to know my horse in all aspects. Building relationship strong. Gave me new knowledge about horses in general. New ways off handling “problems”. Knowledge about have my horse moves on its legs and have I can help my horse to get self control in the bony and in the Braine. My horse learns bye starting to think and uses mentally. Amazing and something that helps me as a leader off the horse. It gives me as a rider self confidence and makes me relax in the sadel in the area an and on tour in the nature. I use all TRT Tools and it helps a lot to work with them and it gives my horse experience with noises and being all around my horse. I love my rope halter, that thing is so important in training, leading to the field or as an extra safeguard on top off my bridle with the bit when I am at new plays / competitions. It do the ground work before getting on and my horse gets relaxed and in focus. So I TRT is gets My highest recommendations 🤩

TRT has genuinely changed the way I approach horses. What I particularly value is the focus on understanding tension, awareness and the horse’s emotional state, rather than simply correcting behaviour.
I’ve been applying the principles with particularly sensitive, reactive horses and the changes in thier ability to process pressure, release tension and regulate have been fascinating.
Tristan gives you a framework, but also encourages you to observe, think and develop your own feel. For me, that’s what good horsemanship should be about.

I have benefited from the life time membership option because some things happened with one of my horses and I was not able to continue right away. When he was healed, I was able to go back and start over for a refresher and then pick up where we left off. Being able to go through the modules at your own pace is perfect. Not all of my horses progress at the same pace.

Having Q&A sessions is so very helpful in making me feel successful and able to progress through challenges. Tristan has answered my question live and that felt like getting a personal one on one. But I also learn from other people's questions and challenges.

Having space to chat with others has been encouraging at times when I was feeling discouraged. There are some amazing people in there that have always said the right things or have provided links to information from past videos.

The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because things got moved around and it became harder to find things because they weren't where they had been. I hope that is not something they do often as it was and still is frustrating. I often learn where something has been moved to from the chat because it is not always intuitive.

I have shared TRT with others and I hope for their continued success and growth.

I have seen Tristan in Netherlands and I bought his method 4 years ago. I was a rider for a long time but I had to improve the connection and it comes from the ground where a lot was missing. This method helps me so much to understand the horse and to improve even if I had a lot to go on. The huddle is very clear. I loved the part with Alizee Froment also 🥰
