Just had a phone call from Chris, Service manager. What a helpful chap. Talked about Vospers policy of checking every car that comes in - its to ensure the state it comes in is the same state as it goes out. He is attempting to make changes to the way staff greet and direct the customers, so no more abrupt staff. Got the distinct impression he is trying his best to make Vospers a "go to" of choice, he is always available, wish him well

I scheduled my 2025 F-250 6.7L Power Stroke for its second service and advised the service department that the steering wheel has been off-centre since the day I took delivery of the truck. I requested that the issue be inspected and corrected under warranty, as it is clearly not the result of wear and tear, but rather a condition that has existed since new. The most likely causes are an improper factory or dealer alignment, or an alignment shift that occurred during transportation and was never addressed prior to delivery.
I was advised that this repair would likely not be covered under warranty. I find this unacceptable. A steering wheel that has been off-centre since day one is not a maintenance issue; it is a delivery issue that should have been corrected long ago.
I also inquired about the availability of a loaner vehicle while the service was being completed. I was informed that loaner vehicles must be requested in advance. If that is the dealership’s policy, it should be clearly communicated at the time an appointment is booked so customers can make appropriate arrangements.
Unfortunately, this experience is consistent with my first service visit. I brought the truck in for an oil change, paid nearly $400, and the vehicle was returned to me filthy. It wasn’t even rinsed off before being returned.
This is a brand-new F-250 6.7L diesel with a purchase price well in excess of $110,000. I expected a significantly higher standard of customer service and support. Instead, I have been met with resistance regarding a legitimate warranty concern and a level of service that falls well below what should be expected from a Ford dealership.
I am not asking for special treatment. I am simply asking that a defect that has existed since delivery be addressed appropriately and that customers be treated with the level of professionalism one would expect when making a purchase of this magnitude.

First time van buyers and we felt well informed and looked after from initial enquiry through to purchase completion. John May was incredibly helpful, professional and amenable throughout - he even brought the van to our home so that we could be reassured that the van would make it down our steep drive without scraping/issue. Customer satisfaction was clearly the priority - we didn’t feel like recipients of typical sales patter, or forced to make a decision before we were ready, yet John was very approachable for any questions we wanted to ask along the way. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Im in shock how poor this company treats people I sent my car in as it had a few faults (braking on its own and other electrics restarting and not working) the car was in all day and i phoned for a update and asked to speak to a lady called sam but never got a call back i tried calling later on and same she is busy and will call you back i then got my car delivered back to me to be told it had a faulty tyre and i asked what was done and was told I dont know so i said has the tyre been fixed or replaced to be told i dont know i then asked is it safe to drive if faulty to be told i dont know i then aske d what else was done to be told i dont know but will get the engineer to call me first think in the morning. i have called 3 times so far to be told we are busy and the engineer is to busy to talk at the moment so i asked what was done as i need to use the car to be told you need to wait for a call. I have had nothing but problems with the car since purchased and was made to feel like i was making up faults as the engineer said we cant see these issues BUT then a recall stating the issues was sent and i said this issue did exist then and the engineer said yes but we cant comment on this as ford like to keep its issues out of the public eye the staff ie sam and andy the engineer were very good until now the other staff ie martha and alex dont care and just bat you away from the telephone as they dont want to discuss problems

A word of warning when reserving a used car! Placed a refundable £99 deposit online, prompt call from a salesperson next day, arranged to view the vehicle, so far so good, after viewing the vehicle & decided it wasn’t the one for me, the salesman said it was no problem & my £99 reserve fee would be refunded, over a week later still no refund, no one will answer my emails, well done great service, Not what I expected from Vospers

The foreman is a very horrible person. Talk my vehicle in a november due to a noise.Tell me it was the butterfly valve and it will do it louder in the winter. And you won't hear it in the summer. This is why when I first got the vehicle, there was no noise, even the paperwork states, it will be louder in the winter. I go back in today. He's now telling me it's gonna be that loud all year round. Even though that's not what the paperwork says, that's not what I was told. Very rude, very ignorant. When I asked him this time why it wasn't making the noise when I first got it.I don't know.I can't tell you why .
Here's my reasoning, why either he doesn't know he's talking about.Or because it's under warranty, they don't want to touch it, because they don't have to replace something or because he thinks of a stupid woman.
I do have a recording of the conversation from November that I'm looking for and we'll be going after them with in the video. He does state. That's that noise will only be when it's cold. And the engine's warming up, and I shouldn't hear It in the summer. I will go to the media if I have to. And release it because this is bold. You are not going to treat me like this. Because i'm a woman or because it's underwarrantin, you don't want to deal with it, picking the fight with the wrong person. He has no people skills that foreman, he shouldn't even have a job. And the receptionist says she trusts him with her vehicle. She apparently doesn't trust her life very much. I wouldn't trust him with my worst enemies vehicle, but I will be going after them. And they will be fixing what's wrong with it.And it's underwarranty you're not going to tell me one thing in november and then come june, tell me something completely different that don't fly with me very well.

Ref- Vospers MG Exeter
I had an incredibly poor experience at this dealership. I pre-booked an appointment specifically to test drive a vehicle, but upon arrival, the car was in terrible condition. It had visible body damage and a flat tyre, making a test drive completely impossible.
A walk around the forecourt revealed that the rest of their inventory was in an equally diabolical state, with vehicles showing ripped interiors, external damage, and even holes in interior of roofs. To make matters worse, both the initial customer service and their approach to aftercare were completely unprofessional and unhelpful.
Booking an appointment implies a vehicle will be prepped and ready. Showing vehicles in this state demonstrates a complete lack of care for customers. I strongly advise buying elsewhere

Very helpful, professional & polite Sales Staff.
This is our 8th car purchase from Vospers over the years.
Good communication via email & the car itself is fantastic.
Keep up the good work.

We recently updated our Peugeot 208 for a used 2008. Andrew Poppet was once more extremely helpful. His knowledge and honest advice help us decide on our new purchase, and we could not be happier. He is always helpful if we have yet another question for him.

Great experience buying an MG with Rob Cosford at Vospers. We were particularly impressed with how he was one of the few car salesmen to talk to both of us - it's incredible how many only spoke to my husband and assumed I knew nothing and had no say in the purchase. Looking forward to receiving our new car!

My husband and I bought a new Ford Explorer from Vospers, the sales person Natalie Keogh was very friendly and explained everything well. Unfortunately after 7 weeks there was a fault on the car and it was returned. I spoke to Natalie, and she organised everything for us, rental car, daily updates, she has been an absolute star. Even though we have now decided to replace the faulty vehicle, Natalie has been so helpful, chasing everyone and keeping us informed, she has gone above and beyond, and has definitely made a stressful time more bearable. I cannot thank her enough.

Having not purchased a car for 14 years (yes my previous car did me well and is still running) I was slightly anxious. Mike Jones at Exeter Vospers did not overwhelm me. He was friendly, knowledgeable and more importantly not one bit pushy. Answered all concerns make purchasing my new vehicle a delight
