Insanely pro AI and pro corporation/anti consumer community. Sad to watch
What a lot of nonsense on this website. Scaremongering about pigeons which were braver than they were in the two world wars & save more lives. Picking on a persecuted species is a disgrace.
A member of their team, Mr Fred Valet, wrote an insulting article against our Swiss Président Ignazio Cassis about Ukraine, at such a limit of which the article could be considered as being an appeal for hate.
Hate appeals are not really welcomed on the rules of internet…
Fred Valet is manifestly ignorant:
-Of who he is criticising: a physician, knowing all our main languages, what explain the 7 minutes duration;
-of our neutrality, which comes from centuries when our reputed mercenaries were killing each other for the surrounding empires, what we decided to stop.
-of our federalism, which requires that the President cannot just adjudicate alone that Russia is the big evil, and that we have to be against it. Our president shall respect the principles of collegial rules, themselves a resultant of the federalism, where the main part of the population shall be taken in account, and not just any president's whim, as in a centralised land, (besides, Macron is compared as a hero, manifestly to increase the hate felling).
Moreover, the article by Fred Valet is mentioning a big lie. Deprived from the actual sources, the actual videos of governments speech about Ukraine, on Youtube, here for the Switzerland position, (but we can find Macron’s on Youtube, too), we are told that our president looked at his shoes, as if he would supposedly be of any "loser".
I visioned the conference with care: Mr Ignazio Cassis does not look at his shoes, but a while at his folder to take it back.
Mr Fred Valet behaves as taking us for little minds being able to take his "truths" for being granted, and, without the sources, tells us what he wants, phenomenon increased by his manifest ignorance of our system and functioning.
I warned both him (his e-mail at Watson), and, by e-mail, their lead at Swizzonic, with the same arguments, and I got neither acknowledgment or cooperation to delete their appeal for despising our land.
To the day of this comment submission (but without even my low notation), Watson.ch gets 6 times a 1-star notation, and 1 time a 4/5 notation; knowing that a star is offered, that makes (6*0 + 3/4)/7 = 0,11/1.
I would not be proud in their place, and would change for really engaged and/or objective articles.
