I have purchased several of their plugins over the years, and now, out of the blue, they’ve sent an email saying that my previously purchased plugins will no longer be available for download unless I pay for lifetime updates.

Lifetime updates were an optional upgrade at the time of purchase, but now it essentially feels like that option is being forced on existing customers.

Their argument is that I’ve received updates for free up until now, which is true, and I appreciate that. But that’s not the issue. If I chose not to purchase lifetime updates, then simply stop providing me with future updates. That’s perfectly reasonable.

What is not reasonable is taking away access to the version of a product I already purchased, as if I never paid for it in the first place.

Don’t sell lifetime updates as an optional extra if customers are eventually going to be forced into buying them just to retain access to products they already purchased.

I am a lifetime member since 2022. This used to be a great site now the services have gone worst since they launched, they launched the gladiator program. The plugins are not being updated on time to download. May be a cheap tactic to get people to sign up for gladiator program. The customer representative online keeps saying "you are just paying fraction of cost compared to original" well you have taken our money on false promises then? for some plugins I requested update and literally had to wait for months, I understand a week or two due to GPL, but months? until then another update comes up.

I have read some of the negative reviews here, and I honestly question why. I see myself as a veteran in this game, and I can tell you that I have bought tons of stuff for all kinds of online businesses, and these guys are doing a very good job. My first major surprise is that they instantly (I mean INSTANTLY) email me each time I download a product that requires any extra info or instructions, giving clear instructions on usage, updating and troubleshooting. You don't get that anywhere. Before you damage their reputation here, please contact them first. Note: I have no personal affiliations with these guys; I am just posting my experience. In fact, I love them so much that I bought a lifetime subscription. Cheers

Honestly, i was surprised how quickly they responded and handled my request same day. I went from not being able to use it at all, to fixed and working. Well done!

Initially tried this site due to a review from a few years ago -- how things have changed!

I bought a monthly subscription, and was offered 'lifetime updates' at checkout, so I upgraded.

When I wrote to support asking how that worked, I was told the lifetime updates addon only applies to individual purchases and not to monthlies, even though it was prominently promoted at checkout.

No refund was offered, instead, support said I should have read the text on a different page -- which wasn't about the addon promotion. I concluded was being knowingly lied to, just to avoid refunding me an offer that wasn't related to what I bought.

On checking out the site, 90% of themes and plugins have not been updated in the last 6 months to 1 year.

Overall dissapointing experience. I cannot recommend. I suggest looking elsewhere for these services.

If I download a product and have a problem, I can contact them and they are great on a fast and helpful reply.

The folks at WorldPressIT have been nothing but TERRIFIC in many ways:
1) WorldClass CUSTOMER SUPPORT - they have eloquently and promptly answered *all* my inquiries - often within minutes
2) Their products/services have *always* been as expected/promised
3) Their pricing is outstanding, offering EXCELLENT VALUE for minimum price - a true deal!

I can't recall a situation when they didn't promptly and in great detail address *any* question I asked!

These gentle folks are the *real thing* - i.e. giving you PLENTY OF BANG FOR THE BUCK, and if you need them, they are there for you 100%!

The products being sold are ok most of the time, but the customer service is often unhelpful and very rude.

I purchased a website subscription from this provider and used their Elementor Pro plugin on three of my websites. Unfortunately, the plugin appears to be infected with malware. As a result, casino and gambling-related spam posts were automatically generated across all three websites. It also created suspicious files and folders, which significantly slowed down my sites.

This issue caused major damage to my websites. Google indexed many of these spam pages, which negatively affected my SEO performance and search rankings. Because of this malware infection, my websites experienced a substantial loss in visibility and organic traffic.

The biggest problem I faced was that all three websites were compromised after using this Elementor Pro plugin.

Great products and good customer service. I would purchase from WorldPressIt.com again.

They are really friendly and helpful people. I always had a positive experience contacting them. They helped me to speed up my site and have access to various plugins I need. I recommend them to anyone.

Used to be great, but the site seems to have been abandoned by its owners. Plugins are now way out of date and not being updated, and emails are being routinely ignored.

No problems with still charging $3.99 for unlimited updates though!

I can only assume that WordPressIT has gone out of business but still keeps the website online to try to get a bit of cash out of it. Such a shame as it was a great resource.

EDIT: After reading their very unprofessional and rude reply I have downgraded my review to one star. Will not be using them again.

I’ve noticed a sharp decline in service recently. I am still waiting for updates on some plugins and themes, and despite several months of waiting, nothing has been released. Every support ticket is met with the same script about updates being 'in the works'. If you rely on keeping your site’s core tools current, this is no longer a dependable source.

I purchased the Gladiator lifetime plan and have been using the plugins across multiple WordPress websites. For my work, it’s important that tools just work without issues, and so far that has been the case.

What I like most is having access to a wide range of premium plugins without needing to buy separate licenses for each one. If you manage multiple projects, this can save a significant amount of money.

The plugins I’ve used install easily and run stable. I haven’t experienced any major bugs or conflicts so far, which is not always guaranteed with platforms like this.

Support is responsive and actually helpful when you have questions. You get clear answers instead of generic replies, which makes a difference.

It’s important to understand how the GPL model works and that you don’t get official support from the original developers, but if you know what you’re doing, this is a practical and cost-effective solution.

I mainly use it for SEO, optimization, and building websites, and for that it does exactly what I need.

I got an email from wordpress-it inviting me to review my order since they need help with reviews (which are apparently being removed for no reason), and I think why not. I paid $4.99 for WP Courseware LMS plugin, I didn't think it would work well since their price is much lower than normal, but my team installed it and we have no issues, so I am pleasently surprised. I can only recommend this site for any wordpress usage and will keep getting my items from for sure.

I bought Jannah theme from them with the lifetime updates and so far I am happy. I needed some help installing the theme but it wasn't too hard, demo imports have to be made manually. Big saver of money

They used to be good, but recently they haven’t been keeping up with updates for popular plugins and themes. I’m now changing my rating to 5 stars since they politely warned me with the horrible warning reply below. :) Still, they’re doing a big job by providing thousands of items at affordable prices, even though updates for some popular items can sometimes be delayed for months. Anyway, they’re still the best in their field.
