I have been looking at rental…

I have been looking at rental properties. I drove over an hour to see a property that was not really for rent. It wasn't even vacant, and not supposed to be posted. The person I communicated with tried to scam me into sending them money. Also deleted the posting by the time I arrived at the home. They were persistent and kept reaching out to me. Be careful and make sure transactions are legit.

I have had numerous problems with…

I have had numerous problems with Zillow. The first was when the site reduced my views by about half. The second was when they inaccurately identified my house as having been on the market longer than it had been. The third was when it did not identify the correct listing agent after I put my house back on the market. After that they were a day later than all other listing sites to show my price reduction. Finally I reduced the price of my house on Friday, which Zillow reported later than the other online sites, and then today it stated that I had increased my price by $900. These constant errors have the real possibility of leaving prospective buyers to think that there is something g wrong with my home or my mental state and to steer clear. I have been a lot of reading about the experience of others, and these kinds of mistakes are not uncommon and often are difficult to fix in a timely manner. I think Zillow should be denied the opportunity to host a website until they have undergone an audit to identify where the glitches are coming from and then actually fix the glitched before they go online again. In an already difficult market, these sloppy mistakes can cause an owner to potentially lose a sale, and that is unacceptable.

I am disappointed in setting up appointment

I am disappointed with setting up a house showing through Zillow. When I tried to do an appointment to look at a house, Zillow sent me text with a realtor's name, and then very soon after sent another text mentioning a different realtor, so I was confused as to who would show us the house. Then I found that this was an out of town realtor, not local, and he couldn't keep the appointment time I requested, not even the same day. The appointment method on Zillow is no good.

I applied for three rental properties…

I applied for three rental properties with Zillow and the rental property said they don’t take applications from Zillow. So I contacted customer service because I paid for background check and application fee for all three. They told me to contact the properties and I told them what the property said and never got my money back! DO NOT APPLY TO RENTALS THROUGH ZILLOW BECAUSE THEY STOLE MY MONEY AND WANT GIVE IT BACK!

Tina Grigorian

We used Tina Grigorian as our realtor when we sold our parents house. She was amazing. She handled everything for us. The house sold for more than we ever thought it would, We can't thank her enough.

Zillow can be Misleading

Listings are deceptive. One agent over the phone would not take no for an answer to not go see properties. Told us what we "needed to" do, what we didn't need and argued our thinking was wrong. Misleading listings with no access once arrived, proving our point sensible and correct to ascertain factors remotely at first. Many signs betrayed she was not the person originally talked to. She asked personal questions via phone, then wanted info we could not answer in person. Very bizarre meeting. She also offered we could ride in her vehicle. Say you're not comfortable doing that. Even direct constructive words did not make us heard. Only the buyer/seller knows what they need and after our experience with the 3rd party Zillow realty group, was not a match. Had to repeat ourselves many times on things. Agent lacked professional empathy and was aggressive that was noticeable. If a client must have a positive experience from start to finish some Zillow partners are just not a good fit. They didn't understand this is a major decision we were taking due diligence on. No matter what they try to make seem you should do, be aware there will be more frustrations, they will try to literally convince you otherwise, but you should have trusted yourself in the first place. They put us under much pressure, one of which was picking unknown properties to physically see. Other details withheld. Felt very predatory. With Zillow you can't know what company you are going to get and if it's going to work.

Pricing on my house dropped down…

Pricing on my house dropped down 15,000.00 overnight for no reason. Absolutely no way to call customer service. For Sale by owner feature does not work and most likely just a way to get....... then sell your info ( noticing a ton of spam emails and calls within 24 hours of giving them my info, I normally do not get them at all. ) ...... I used to use Zillow a lot BUT I have been getting a much better experience with Trulia. Look and read some of the reviews here....... Sadly, most are accurate

BEWARE! Don't give them your phone number!

DON'T click the "view this home" button! You think you are contacting the selling agent to schedule an appt. But you are actually activating a horrendous spam system! Within minutes, my phone blew up! Calls, texts, robocalls, every realtor in the state was calling me! And multiple times! I may have to disconnect my phone!

No Support. Joined and paid a subscription for a multi family listing. They could not get the link to Buildium to work. My salesman and support will not respond. Yes I am paying for this great support. They have not responded in 2 days. I'm paying for this and totally in the dark with no help. No phone number to call. No QC over the service they are suppose to provide, that you are paying for. Buyer beware!

Zillow allows fake brokers

While the Zillow platform is very good for finding properties, and specifics of same, their security and vetting of brokers is simply horrible. I was approached by a “broker” listed on Zillow. He wanted to buy vacant land. Did a Docusign, he never placed the EMD, never made closing, and then (after tracking him to the cell phone repair store he owns….) I learned he had been arrested overseas. I followed with the state licensing department, to learn he is not licensed, yet Zillow allows him to list himself as a “broker”. I tried, four different times, to put a truthful review on the guys Zillow page, but the moderators won’t allow you to speak unkindly about any broker on their site.

People Should be aware that Zillow has zero safeguard against fake brokers, and they won’t even follow with this guy to ask him about licensing, which every state requires.
