Extremely disappointing customer…

Extremely disappointing customer support experience.

I requested a downgrade almost immediately after my renewal charge because I no longer needed the higher-tier plan. Instead of someone reviewing the situation fairly, I kept receiving repetitive policy-based responses that completely ignored the actual timing and context of my request.

What made the situation even more frustrating is that my account usage was still fully within the limits of the lower-tier plan I requested. The automations running on the account were already active workflows operating normally in the background — something completely expected for an automation platform.

I repeatedly asked for the case to be escalated to a supervisor or billing manager, but I never truly felt that anyone was willing to handle the case with any flexibility or common sense. Every reply felt copied, rigid, and impersonal.

I’ve been a loyal customer for years, which honestly made this experience even more disappointing. I understand companies have policies, but good customer support should also involve reasonable judgment and basic customer care — especially in situations like this.

Very frustrating experience overall.

This thing is all labor pains and no baby. I wasted 4 hours of my time trying to get this to simply search my email inbox for PDFS and put them into a folder. It could not accomplish the task repeatedly crashed and now ranks as the dumbest thing I've done with my time for the entire year. I usually don't take the time to review things but this thing deserves it. It reaches a level of incompetence that seems unforgivable and almost feels like an incomplete program that's been let loose and is just out here seeing if anyone's dumb enough to try to buy the subscription. I hope this thing goes away and I hope this helps someone avoid wasting their entire **** day like I have on this stupid **** **** **** **** **** program that I am just **** furious with right now.

No Issues with Zaps & Great support received when we caused an error

We have been using Zapier across a number of operational workflows, including email systems, CRM updates, and Webhooks, and so far we have had no real issues with the platform itself. It has been a useful part of connecting our systems together. I can see the other experiences on here but we've had no issues with Zapier itself.

We did however run into an issue self imposed. I accidentally created a Zap loop during testing, which caused unexpected task usage and a charge that was concerning for our company.

Will from Zapier support reviewed the issue quickly, understood exactly what had happened, and waived the credits within the hour. Clear, practical, and genuinely helpful support.

Very impressed with the speed and fairness of the response. Given that we have no issues with the product either, our current position is 5 stars.

Extreme refund policy

Extreme refund policy. I didn't even finish my trial. I purchased the full year and used it for an additional day or two and decided this platform wouldn't work for my program. You can't do all the functions on a trial so I figured I'd purchase the year as it looked promising and didn't know that after testing the features for a couple days there would be no refund. I highly recommend using a different company/platform for your projects or builds.

We closed our business and canceled our order. The cancellation was done through email because we didn’t have access to the system because the business was closed. The firm was notified and refused to give us our refund. Today we have no refund and no product. would you pay for something that you never received? Customer service is extremely poor and the responses are most likely an AI bot.

This company has been charging my card…

This company has been charging my card for the last 10 months. This charge was not authorized and was not attached to any account I had with them. They told me there was nothing they could do. They couldn't even STOP the future charges! This is such a joke. They are obviously scammy.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Zapier. This has been, without question, one of the worst experiences I’ve had with any company.
We subscribed last year by mistake and canceled the subscription the very next day. Despite that, no refund was issued. Even more concerning, after the account had already been canceled, we were charged again this year.
There is also no straightforward way to reach customer support aside from email, which has made resolving this issue unnecessarily difficult.
I am formally requesting a full refund for the recent charge. I have email records from last year clearly showing that I canceled the service and stated that I did not need it. Under these circumstances, it is unacceptable to continue billing me.
If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter by filing complaints with the appropriate consumer protection authorities.
I expect this to be addressed as soon as possible.

Signed up for them over a year ago and…

Signed up for them over a year ago and purchased the annual plan (and forgot I even signed up for the service). Six months later, I closed down my business and my old credit card, they still wound up charging my new card a year later (they automatically renew annual plans). I called the credit card company and they said that Zapier has a feature set up where they automatically transfer payments to any new cards set up. Furthermore, they wouldn't honor any refunds claiming they have a "no refund policy" (even though I didn't use their services for over a year).

This company's ethical standards are non-existent. Even their email response team stopped responding after I asked to be transferred to a supervisor.

Buyer beware! All the other reviews are accurate!

When I asked for a refund they didn't give me my money back.

Disgusting morals for a company in my opinion.

Lost a customer for life over greedy refund policy

I had a yearly subscription that was auto-renewed. Three days after renewal I requested a refund as I don't use the service anymore.

They said they don't offer refunds and I'll have my subscription for another year, even though I won't be using it at all.

Very greedy and short-sighted policy. I hope the $238 was worth it, they lost a customer for life.

Avoid Zapier, use Claude or anything else.

My non-profit organization has been…

My non-profit organization has been trying to simply cancel our account for 3 months! We have contacted Zapier multiple times, provided any and all information they claim to need to find our account...and they still can not locate it. Thier billing support is absolute trash. We had to go to our banking facility and file a complaint with them to get the charges to stop.

For future people using Zapier...think twice or even three times before considering them.

Also, I reported them to the BBB

This is an excellent service

This is an excellent service, far more customisable than IFTTT. It links with all the major apps and makes life a lot easier performing a few critical functions that run my personal productivity ecosystem.
When we ran our own business I have to say it was also brilliant.

Refused to talk on the phone to someone…

Refused to talk on the phone to someone post surgery that had the use of only 1 hand until they vetted we would spend 50k per year. Forced into chat and then miraculously they could not only call but call at 9pm on Saturday. Unbelievable gready pigs who discriminate against the handicap!!

Paid for 1 month premium membership

Paid for 1 month premium membership, the zap would not send me notifications, support would not help except asking me to prove it (which I could) and then saying "all sales are final". Absolutely ridiculous, literally had money stolen from me. No refunds even though you set up a faulty product with no support.
