The Zillow site glitches every time
The Zillow site glitches every time I try to view a rental application or background check. At first it said I needed to unfreeze my own credit, which I then did. It still won't let me view applications. Their help desk consists of stock answers to issues that don't describe my own situation. I've wasted at least 20 hours trying to view applications and gotten nowhere.
Maybe easier to just buy a house than using Zillow app
What a pain to use this. Their customer service? Limited time, and if you were on the East Coast, the earliest you can have contact with them is noon.
Did you forget to add something in? You’ve submitted so too bad too sad.
For whatever reason, they showed a lower FICO score for a co-applicant. It’s still excellent, but it was 30 points too low.
I was beginning to feel like it would be easier to just buy a house.
Not impressed.
Zillow USED to be a reliable source for…
Zillow USED to be a reliable source for real estate. But now it's manipulated by Zillow management. Your photos are removed and/or deleted, customer service is NON EXISTENT. Current photos are NOT current views of said property. DO NOT TRUST THIS ORGANIZATION.
Reviewing my home on Zillow
IMO, Zillow has old out of date photos of properties listed and off market. Photos of my home are 10 yeras old and do not reflect the more than 50K spent on improvements to the home in the last tens years. Zillow is out of date and unable to keep up. Sites like Zillow will keep your property value lower than market values for this reason. My home as been remodeled, new roof, new paint and sideing, new fencing, new patio area, and so much more. Zillow has no updates with any of these improvements.
STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
Only in it for the money. Can careless about tenants!!
The landlords in Wichita Kansas or…
The landlords in Wichita Kansas or cropping their photos on their pictures when you go look at the properties here the properties are filthy nasty holes in them ice boxes are dirty mold black and mold inside the apartments door knobs are hanging off walls need to be painted basement needs to be redone but their pictures their cropping them so people will believe that they are just a beautiful brand new everything's brand new in it The ice boxes don't even match the pictures or the stoves then when you go look at these places their trash and you walk out after wasting gas people don't have gas money to keep running back and forth looking at these cropped photos that Zillow is allowed Wichita Kansas landlords to put on their website you guys need to make these landlords take actual pictures not pictures that have been up for 30 years The actual pictures of the property and I guarantee you a lot of people will so I complaining if they have not already start complaining about this
The worst ever
They lie that they'll provide estimated…
They lie that they'll provide estimated monthly payment if to refinance your home, then after collecting all your information, they just give it to a third party and don't provide an estimate.

I am an agent and decided to use Zillow Media Experts. Do NOT DO THIS! They have no customer service. I have yet to speak with anyone even after calls, messages and emails.
AI Generated Floorplans
Mostly, Zillow website is a very handy tool for anyone looking for real estate. However, they do a VERY POOR job of letting consumers know that they AUTO GENERATE FLOOR PLANS WITH AI that are bogus and inaccurate.
I've been searching for a new home for nearly 6 months now. I discovered this only lately because they picked up the property I own and am not selling. The floor plan of my home is from another planet.
Slow, unresponsive in crunch time, and just bad.
I've worked with tons of title insurance companies over decades, with thousands of closed loans. My first transaction where the seller chose Zillow Closing for their title agent turned out poorly, to say the least.
We're supposed to close tomorrow at 10am, and they have been unresponsive to my closing coordinator all afternoon. Not a single attempt to balance the CD, so we can order the wire and be ready for the buyers, who already got delayed by day due to the seller. The good title companies are responsive, even if it's to say that they are backed up and will be getting to the file soon. This is the worst experience I've had with a title company in ages. Trust all the negative reviews. Denver, Colorado.
Do not trust information you find on Zillow. Too many inaccuracies
I have a current listing with its address tied to a vacant lot and a wrong owner that lists an erroneous market value. No one returns calls. An AI bot deals with the issue and escalates it to some unknown person in a never-ending loop, and no returned calls. What a nightmare!~
Private emails/date shared with office
Advertised as a premier agent for years. My credit card #s changed and the emails went to a spam folder. I did update my credit card, but apparently you have to manually process a payment before it will auto cycle again, which I didn't do and they dropped my advertising. My complaint, is I am a broker and shared the leads to my office as a courtesy. Zillow sent screenshots of my billing info and emails saying my card wouldn't go through to an agent in my office who reached out to inquire about his own zillow ads.

It takes a considerable amount of time for pages to load. The network refreshes without being prompted. Way too many ads that get in the way of the posted content. Very antiquated and annoying.
I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with Zillow’s Premier Agent program.
I was told the service was month-to-month and could be canceled at any time. However, after ongoing issues with lead quality and delivery, I found that the terms did not align with what I was originally told.
Over the course of about a year, I repeatedly raised concerns about not receiving the level of leads I was paying for. My last lead was in early November, and I was still billed later that month for a prepaid advertising period despite not receiving meaningful leads during that time.
The account was eventually canceled, but I was later contacted by a collection agency for an alleged balance. There are also inconsistencies between the amount Zillow referenced and what the collection agency is claiming.
I have since filed formal disputes and complaints to resolve the matter.
I would strongly encourage anyone considering this program to carefully review all terms in writing and monitor billing and lead delivery closely.
Suspect Property Information
I understand that if a house is not listed the value is not properly reflected. I would like to use the information to determine market value for additional properties. In my case, my home is listed for 3 bedrooms not the correct number of 4. Makes me wonder if other homes/listings are also inaccurate???
HORRIBLE Customer Service!
Truly the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered in my life. A company only gets to remain this arrogant and incompetent for so long before a better alternative replaces them. I messaged Zillow through their website, and after one full week, received only generic responses from Steve that did not address my two specific concerns. So I used the Chat feature on their website, interacting with Diego. Again, only generic cut-and-pasted responses and then he just abruptly ended the chat (can you imagine a customer service representative hanging up a call on a customer? - this would be no different). And if you want to continue chatting, you have to start all over again through the AI agent. The specific issues are that their website, unlike any of the other real estate websites, does not match the market timer/days on the market per the MLS if a property had previously been listed as "Coming Soon". Where MLS and other websites restart the MT/DOM at zero once the property is actually listed for sale, Zillow does not reset this, causing a property to appear on the market longer than it actually has been. Imagine a prominent real estate website displaying a different MT/DOM than the official MLS. Completely unsat. The other issue we encountered is that the "What's special" tags do not show up on our Zillow listing, and Zillow cannot explain why this is except to state that these tags are AI generated from the MLS listing. So why do ours not show up? We have changed the MLS listing multiple times to try to get this to reflect correctly, but it does not work and they cannot explain, but only provide that this information is generated by the MLS listing and their AI system. So we attempted to manually add tags by using bullet points and caps, which does not look the same at all. When Zillow "hung up" on me, they told me to have my real estate agent contact them. So I did. And he had the same horrible experience while dealing with Kelly H. from their Partner Support team and Roman via chat. Shame on this company! As the saying goes, "If you don't take care of your customers, someone else will."

Denied a viewing of a property for no great logic. Cash buyer, proven property professional. Found Zillow hard to negotiate and interact with. I feel sorry for the seller.
