The Contacts tool is terrible. We're using the Workspace and Email specifically. As the Email system depends heavily on the Contacts tool, without a solid contact management system, the entire email is solution is rendered almost useless. We had to submit 3 support tickets and respond to 6+ emails just to find out how to edit a person's Contact Category (a Label in Gmail). While the basic functions work well, they just haven't spent enough time rounding out the product functionality. Many things that should be easy are very difficult and clunky. Example: Importing Contacts, Categories, Consolidated Inbox

Just explained 30 min via the support chat my issue. Then i got disconnected. The next operator told me to explain everything again. I did, then they said, they will reach out as soon as possible with an answer. (This means it will take 3-6 weeks).
Very bad. They mentioned that in STD you get purchases, assuming this includes POs, no such luck, you need to pay double to create pruchse ordrs, so, others such as Sage and Quickbooks are actually much cheaper. Hidden costs are frustrating. when contacting their customer service, the guys cannot give answers, they can only tel you were to go do research on your question. this company is a joke.
I would not recommend Zoho Books to anyone who values timely technical support.
On numerous occasions, I have encountered issues with the software and tried calling the support line for assistance. Unfortunately, nobody ever answers the phone. Instead, customers are required to leave a voicemail and wait for a callback.
This is simply not acceptable when you're running a business. Imagine standing in front of a customer, facing a technical issue that prevents you from completing a transaction or accessing important information, and being unable to get immediate support.
I cannot be the only customer experiencing this problem. For a business-critical accounting platform, reliable and accessible support should be a priority. Based on my experience, the support line is ineffective and has left me feeling frustrated and unsupported when I needed help the most.

Zoho is the worst jumble of software i have encountered in my 40 years in business. Literally nothing works properly. None of the so called integrated apps are connected to each other. Zoho telephony - doesnt work on most mobile phones. Nothing is automated, you have to build everything yourself. ZIA - the laughable AI - is hopeless. It looks terrible, performs even worse, and zoho simply don't care. There are no circumstances under which you should choose zoho for anything.
Just really budget with terrible customer support. We. Iced from Xero and CIN 7 to Zoho and took us a year to migrate and it’s the worst move I ever did. Books and inventory are just so badly built, and so hard to use. We are now going to migrate back, probably a 200k mistake.
Their customer service is a bot telling you constantly that they will get in touch with you in the next 24 hrs. Got tired of their practices - switching over to the next provider.

Being a paid user and sending a few outgoing promo emails resulted in an instant block with no possibility of rolling back. Their customer service is full of shit. Avoid like a plague.

The tools work well for managing social media, and the support is solid
We have been with Zoho for 7 years. The support has gone from bad to worse over the years. We have had to shut down our business operations for three days because they disabled apps we already paid for and they 'do not know how to enable them and can't help because they don't work on weekends.' Our customers are not able to sign up for our services, we can't charge customers and cannot use any internal operations tools.
I highly recommend NOT using this company.

This is one tool that has transformed my business results and I am really excited since I discovered this.
Support time is roughly 3-4 weeks. The first response is within minutes, but they will only tell you, that the backend team will reach out. This takes weeks and months, sometimes they even forget about you. I would never go to Zoho again.
