This is the second car I have bought from Hippo, so I went into this purchase with some confidence based on my previous experience. Unfortunately, the after-sales service this time has been absolutely horrendous. I purchased a used Suzuki S-Cross from Hippo on 10 July 2026 and collected it on 21 July. Within hours of collecting the car, I discovered that the air conditioning wasn't working and the driver's heated seat was faulty. I reported these issues promptly. I had purchased a 36-month A1 Approved Platinum warranty for £1,199, expecting it to provide some peace of mind. Instead, trying to actually use the warranty has been an exhausting and extremely difficult process. I was told to find a garage willing to deal with A1. I contacted eight garages, including garages recommended by A1, but struggled to find anyone willing to undertake the work. One garage told me that warranty companies were a “nightmare” to deal with because of the authorisation process. I eventually ended up being directed to a garage almost two hours from my home. I made the journey, arranged childcare and took time away from my self-employed work, only for the repairs not to be completed. I then arranged another appointment, again losing a day's income and arranging childcare, but this was cancelled because A1 still hadn't provided the necessary authorisation in time for the parts to be ordered. Throughout this process, I repeatedly asked Hippo for help. As the company that sold me the car, I expected them to take some responsibility for getting these problems resolved. Instead, I was repeatedly directed back to A1 and left to navigate the warranty process myself. I am autistic and have auditory processing difficulties, and I explained that repeated and unexpected telephone calls and complicated administrative processes cause me significant difficulty and distress. I repeatedly requested communication by email wherever possible, but this has not consistently been respected. What I find most disappointing is that Hippo has now closed my formal complaint without the underlying problems being resolved. Their Final Response initially even incorrectly stated that my car had been returned to Hippo, when it was actually still in my possession. Although they subsequently corrected that error, their position on my complaint remained unchanged: no reimbursement, no compensation, no refund of the £1,199 warranty and, ultimately, no meaningful resolution. I am therefore left with a car that has had faults from the moment I collected it, a £1,199 warranty that has proved extremely difficult to access in practice, significant time and expense spent trying to get the faults repaired, and a supplying dealer who has now closed my complaint while the matter remains unresolved. I would not recommend taking out an A1 Approved warranty based on my experience. A warranty is of very limited value if you cannot practically find a garage willing to work with the warranty provider and then cannot get the repairs authorised. I am now taking the matter to The Motor Ombudsman for independent review. I have also raised a formal complaint with my finance provider, Mann Island, regarding the vehicle and their responsibilities under the PCP agreement. Depending on their response, I will also refer the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service, as I am continuing to make PCP payments for a vehicle that has been faulty since I took delivery. I have also raised a separate formal complaint with A1 Approved regarding the handling of the warranty. This is particularly disappointing because this is my second car from Hippo. I genuinely expected better after-sales support, and unfortunately the way this has been handled has completely changed my view of the company.

UPDATE – September 15, 2026: Allstate has responded to my review and provided me with contact information for its Community Care team. I have now forwarded my correspondence and concerns to Community Care and am awaiting a substantive response. I believe it is important to update the community not only when something goes wrong, but also when a company takes meaningful steps toward resolving it. If and when I receive a response and resolution that adequately addresses the conduct and accountability concerns I raised—not simply the underlying rental issue—I will update this review accordingly. I intend to continue following this matter through the appropriate channels until it has received meaningful review. At the same time, I will be equally willing to acknowledge Allstate publicly if it handles the situation appropriately. Consumers deserve to know how companies respond when problems occur, because the response is often just as important as the original problem. I take reviews seriously and believe in being fair. When a company does something well, I say so. But I also believe consumers should speak up when a large corporation—or someone representing it—treats people as though they don’t matter. My son was 18 when this began. This was his first accident and insurance claim. I intentionally let him handle it himself so he could learn responsibility. After weeks of polite attempts to get assistance with his repair and rental, I finally had to step in. My interaction with Allstate claims representative Juan Gonzalez turned a frustrating situation into something I could not ignore. I found his communication insulting, dismissive and extraordinarily unprofessional. When I explained how long my son had been trying to get help, I was repeatedly met with responses to the effect of, “Yeah, yeah, yeah. It’s okay. It’s okay.” It was not okay. Most importantly, the call was recorded. I filed a formal complaint and specifically asked Allstate management not to take my word for it, but to listen to its own recording. Juan’s supervisor, Margaret Matherne, has now listened to the call and spoken with me about it. I have asked the next level of management to listen as well. I could have understood a delay, mistake, workload issue or absence. An explanation and sincere apology could have changed everything. What I cannot accept is dismissive treatment when someone is simply asking for help. I don’t like seeing large companies take advantage of people who have less power, and I especially don’t like it when the person trying to navigate the system is an inexperienced 18-year-old. We aren’t Allstate customers; we were simply on the other side of an Allstate claim. How a company treats someone when it doesn’t need their future business says a great deal about that company. I will continue pursuing this through Allstate management because I want to know what will actually be done about what occurred. Allstate has the recording. Management has listened to it. The recording can speak for itself.

*CDON is a scam. Avoid buying anything from this website.* We ordered an HP EliteBook battery (CM03XL). Within a few minutes, we realised that we had ordered the wrong product and immediately submitted a cancellation request. That was when we discovered how this CDON scam works (based on the cancellation confirmation email). Even if you cancel an order, you will still receive the product. You then have to return it by post to the seller, and you will only receive a refund if the seller accepts the return. We contacted the seller (the sellers are third party), but they told us to contact them through CDON—which we had already done, without receiving any useful help. The day after we submitted the cancellation request, we received an email saying that the order had been shipped. The product was shipped as expected. We checked the cost of returning it and, unsurprisingly, discovered that the postage would cost almost as much as the product itself. So although we might technically have a chance of receiving a refund, returning the item would make no economic sense. *Stay away from CDON. Did I say that CDON is a scam? It absolutely is. No proper online store works like this, and no online store should be allowed to operate this way.*

Just to begin with the positive: the swim teacher is amazing and very accommodating (even a substitute was very pleasant), which even made up for short-term pool closure or sickness of the swim teacher - this can always happen and is not the reason for the low star count, on the contrary the swim teacher is 5 stars. Our oldest learned swimming within the 6 lessons and our little one is close to it. What made me write this review is the lack of communication and the inability to organize swim lessons (= schedule lessons, either via phone or via e-mail). There is no system that shows the times of the lessons and after booking the invoice doesn't have it either - so, you better take notes. When a lesson is cancelled you need to chase and try to get someone on the phone. Although a misunderstanding, a no-show of the swim teacher wasn't clearly communicated. I shared this after the first time as recommendation with the company to recommending improvement and requesting change in communication for future interaction.

I spoke with a lovely young lady, she was so very helpful and had a great kindness in her personality. Her name was Angela. She and I worked on my package, trying to find a date, but it did not work out for the months I wanted, and Angela spent a great deal of time trying to find a date. I just picked busy months, so I will be calling back once I get moved and have the correct address of my move. I found this site easy to get to a representative and I believe I received the best one. The young lady should get a raise for being extra helpful, patient and kind. One does not find that happening too often. It was just a great experience and I hope I speak to Angela the next time I call. It will be my pleasure.

This app has really exceeded my expectations! My 6 year old had been struggling with reading and I tried hooked on phonics and it just didn’t help much so I decided to give reading.com a try, not expecting much better results but willing to try anything, and wow!!! It’s been amazing! My son actually enjoys doing his daily lessons and loves that we do it together. He also really enjoys the games and word stories with the animal characters. His reading has improved drastically and I really feel like we owe it to reading.com !

Unfortunately, this company claims transparency and fair odds. Also beware of duplicate cards. You can pull the same card 4 times in 12 pulls. Explain how their social media influencer has 90k in cards pulled in 8 attempts. Additionally, i would not trust any of the cards that are not slabbed up by PSA or BGS. Also against trust pilot regulations they offer an incentive for leaving a positive review, so I would not trust anything that has been written.

Purchased the Hydra bottle set with pre wash & snow foam. Used these to start the car washing process. Have to say that after trying many snow foams this was the first that actually ‘stuck’ to the paintwork rather than slide straight off. Once the foam was rinsed off using the bottles I hand washed my car using the Hydro shampoo, again risnsing off using the spray bottles. Very happy with the nice, clean & shiny car that was the end result.

Visit Van Gogh was much more than going to a museum. Of course I knew most of his paints but the real difference was enjoying them all together in one place, all display in a logic sense. Also, one of the most remarkable things for me is reading the explanations behind each paint which helped me to better understand the artist's mind, his life's momentum and his relationship with the family and friends.

Bought tv and was damaged when delivered. Curry saw my earlier review and fixed the issue. Staff at curry’s Leicester was not helpful initially but the customer support online and one of the staff member in curry’s Leicester really helped my wife. Thanks To Adrian at Leicester curry’s branch for helping us.
