The company was perfect, the sales person was so proffessional and supportive.

Established connection with a company selling EV fast chargers. 2 representatives appeared over whatsApp by their own suggestion. The conversation diverted into both personal and marginally politics.
The Chinese Government interfered silently.
Cut off the entire thing.
Both over whatsApp and Alibaba.
This is what a paranoid Police State does, implicitly emboldened by the cocky KnowNothing in the White House...

Alibaba Trade Assurance — Buyer Protection That
Doesn't Protect Buyers

I placed a Trade Assurance order in November 2025
(Order #10997000501027255). The supplier delivered
3 months late, failed professional inspection with
9 major defects, and the factory owner admitted
the delay in writing.

After submitting 35+ pieces of evidence including
a signed contract, failed inspection report from
AQI (one of China's largest inspection companies),
photographic proof of defects, and written
admissions from the supplier themselves — Alibaba's
Senior Team has spent months ignoring the evidence
and offering only $1,240 back on a $3,935 deposit.

The supplier lied repeatedly throughout the dispute,
submitted manipulated photographs, and contradicted
themselves in every single submission. Alibaba's
response? Repeat the supplier's arguments and ask
for more evidence.

Trade Assurance is marketed as 100% buyer
protection. In practice, it protects suppliers
who breach contracts while the buyer loses
thousands of dollars and months of time.

Avoid unless you are prepared to fight for months
for money you are contractually owed.

Delivery: Arrived in just 13 days. Since I chose DDP, the entire process was smooth and hassle-free.

Quality: The product feels solid and well-built. So far, I’m very happy with it—will evaluate durability over time.

Design: Fits my bike perfectly and looks great. The mount and clip design could be improved slightly for better ease of use

Around mid March 2026,I bought 2 life jackets a day after another.
I received only one life jacket , the other one was not able to contact the seller or Alibaba. The Customer service is terrible and so disappointing.

Website showing selling prices but no shipping info and when enquiries sent it takes a lot of fake information and in the end we cancel the order request dates for the last six months

Alibaba was truly amazing, being a first time purchaser of. Equipment from over seas I was nervous, Alibaba responded with live personal agents every time I had a concern or question. I would highly recommend anyone working with ordering goods from out of country deal with Alibaba as truly a top tier overseer.

I have had a successful experience in Alibaba a few times for expensive items. However, this time when I had a problem with an order for the first time the dispute resolution from a customer perspective is absolutely shocking. I have been lied to and scammed by the supplier who continually say they have shipped when they have not. The mediation from Alibaba seems ai based and is absolutely NOT on the side of you as buyer. I have stopped buying completely now on Alibaba. Great if supplier is good , if the supplier is not then you are on your own. Avoid !!!

I use Alibaba alot, and thus far, it has been a very pleasant experience. As a business owner, I need to know I am getting exactly what I order, and that the prices are competitive. This is what Alibaba has given me. Along with High efficiency in speed of delivery as well as ease of navigating their website. Love Alibaba
