Very unpleasant experience
Terrible experience, will never shop from them again. The swimming bottoms do not have the security strips, looks like final merchandize is either being worn or they are just trying to get rid of. Customer service is rude and patronizing saying: " you only shop final sale" - whatever that means. Very unprofessional attitude and terrible product.
I was a first time shopper with Bare…
I was a first time shopper with Bare Necessities and it will be my last. I was lured in by their discount "spinner" function which required my email. Thinking i was going to have a generous discount applied to my order, i carefully selected (3) items, one of which cost $74.00. To my surprise, no discount was applied and to my extreme disappointment, that expensive item was not at all as shown on the advertisement and the fit was poor. I felt tricked and taken advantage of--that discount "spinner" was on every screen. Customer Service was heavy with scripted "empathy" for my disappointment and they quickly justified my deception by citing me the "fine print" which excluded all (3) of my purchases. I couldn't return the expensive bra because i had worn it to see if the fit would improve. I would warn other first time shoppers away from this tricky website.
High quality beautiful products and easy returns
This is a great site to order lingerie and bathing suits. I ordered a fantastic bra that fit to the accurate size chart, and a few bathing suits that were truly the most gorgeous and high quality I’ve found anywhere for my size (I need extra support in the bust). The bathing suits didn’t fit and the return process was easy and instant. They did charge a shipping fee of $6.95 but I think that’s fair enough. Especially in buying items like this where getting the right fit can be trial and error, I expect easy returns where you download the label right away, no waiting around for customer service to email or whatever. I will definitely order from this site again.
Terrible return policy
I bought a bra on sale, and it didn't fit. Well, I'd heard they have a return policy that's okay. Nope! I spent 17 dollars. For a return, I would get 3.23 or around 10 dollars store credit. If I wanted to exchange it, I would PAY 55 dollars! That's absurd! I will not be shopping here again!

I put the wrong address and the package…
I put the wrong address and the package was lost. They fixed it for me very quickly.
Surprise item cancellation
I ordered four items from their swim clearance on June 6th. Two different sets of matching top and bottom. Three of the four items arrived on time and correct. The fourth item showed that it was shipping separately. After receiving zero updates, I chatted with customer service on June 17th. It took a while to connect with an agent. Once I did, I was refunded the amount for my single item, as they no longer had the item in stock. I asked to refund the matching item as well, as I couldn't wear half a bikini. I was given a gift card code for the cost of my unusable item instead of a full refund. While the outcome was okay, I was annoyed that I had to reach out to them for an update. What would have happened if I had not contacted them? Would they have kept my money?
UNETHICAL business practices with returns
They will not tell you this on their Returns FAQ page, but if they choose to split your order into two or three shipments, then can do so without your knowledge or consent. However, if you do return things, you do not pay one return shipping fee for the order, You have to PAY FOR EVERY SHIPMENT you receive. If they choose to ship your order of 10 items into 10 separate shipments, you are going to pay $70 in return shipping fees even though you had no input into how the items get shipped to you. To get one return shipment goodwilled to you, you have to contact them to ask about this policy, then you process the return and you have to get back to them after your retuned has been scanned. They cannot set it up in the system to credit the shipping at the time the return is processes nor have it credit automatically when the pkg ships. The onus is on you to handle it all.
FAQ that says nothing of this ridiculous policy makes this totally unethcial, in my opinion- I cannot paste the link, but you can go to their FAQ and search for return shipping

Not what they say it is
The bra I received fell apart after 4 hand washes, It's too much money to pay for a bra for that to happen. Shame on them for not replacing it
Absolutely DO NOT BUY from this…
Absolutely DO NOT BUY from this company. Horrible experience with an exchange that was never sent. Waited and waited. Sent an email to tell them I no longer wanted the item because of the delay. They stated they could not cancel, even though the item hadn't even been procured, let alone shipped at that point. Iniitated a dispute through my credit card company because WTF. AVOID this SCAM of a company.
Christine
Christine, took care of my issue and went above and beyond my expectations. I appreciate her knowledge, professional and willingness to ensure I purchased the right swim top for my trip(s)! Thank you
A Very Satisfied Customer
I recently had the pleasure of speaking to one of your fit experts. I was very impressed and extremely happy with the service I received from Christine. She is so very knowledgeable and helped me immensely in making my selections. What a wonderful natured person with such a friendly personality! Christine is a valuable asset to your company and should be commended on her patience and professionalism. I will definitely be ordering more items in the future.
Never received
Placed an order March 15th. Emailed them 3 times with no response on the 3rd one. They said that there were warehouse issues and I should receive my order in 3-4 weeks. On the 4th email I demanded answers to when and if my order would ship or a refund. It was now 5 weeks after ordering. They said that it would be escalated to a manager. I did receive an email back on April 20th that said they had no idea when or if the items would ship and cancelled my order. I am waiting to see when I receive my refund because of course they charged me when I placed the order on March 15th.
Not impressed with customer service
My mom and I are both full figured and are having a very hard time finding bras that fit. We gave Bare Necessities a try. First tried to do an exchange and was told we would be refunded for the full amount plus the shipping amount. We had to call to get the shipping price returned, Jasique first fought with us about it saying we were not told the shipping charge was going to be returned. My mom and I had the phone on speaker, and my mom specifically asked if we'd be refunded the shipping and we were told yes, since we were placing a brand new order for almost the same amount. I don't know what phone call Jasique listened to, but unfortunately for Bare Necessities we will not be back now. The new order came and unfortunately we were not happy with those bras either. Jasique did refund us for that second shipping cost also, which is appreciated, but I shouldn't have had to get firm and almost mean to get the return for shipping from the first order. Had this interaction gone better we would have tried to order different styles again, until we found ones that fit properly. We will order directly from the bra companies from now on, as most seem to offer free returns also. Wish this had gone better but for us it did not.
Used to be an amazing company
Used to be an amazing company. This year they are terrible. Ordered in march and still waiting for a portion of that order, that was not on back order, then my 4/1 order hasn’t shipped yet and it’s 4/10, but they sure jerk the money out same day. Customer sercvice is all AI so no help to be had.
Rewards non refundable
I’m absolutely shocked at how Bare Necessities handles points. I had 9,000 points—$30 off—and added bras to my cart. I redeemed the points, then changed my mind before completing the purchase. You’d think unused points would be returned, right? Wrong. They said once points are redeemed, that’s it—even if I never placed the order.
That is completely unethical and unfair. I could understand if points couldn’t be redeemed after a purchase—but I didn’t even buy anything! I spend a lot of money here, and I expect ethical treatment in return. Losing points like this over a change of mind is wrong on every level.
I will leave a bad review and report this to the Better Business Bureau. If you want loyal customers, treat them fairly and ethically. I love your products, but I will take my money elsewhere because this is not how a business should treat customers.
This isn’t me trying to take advantage—it’s me changing my mind, and I got completely screwed over.

Slow shipping, poor customer support
EDIT: the company reached out to me (see their response) and said the first rep was wrong. They have refunded my order, and were very nice about it. As such, I’m changing my rating from 1-star to 4-star.
First order, awesome. Second order, they accepted the order, have already sent marketing emails to get me to purchase more, but they haven't shipped my order after 11 days. I chatted into customer support today and find out it's going to be another 3-4 weeks before they ship it due to a warehouse transition. So I asked them to cancel the order and they refused. Note that they've already completely charged (not just authorized) my credit card. Unacceptable. The only thing I can do about it is leave a bad review, and I guess go without new bras for another month or more.

Never got my swim top
Never got my swim top. Ordered it and said it would be here in a week, called bc there was no shipping email, it was never sent, supposedly on back order! But when I made the order and paid they said it was in stock, called and the lady was short and rude, won’t buy off their site again
Horrendous Service
On February 13, 2026, I placed an online order with Bare Necessities for several items. Based on their sizing guidelines, I ordered two bras. Unfortunately, these items did not fit. I have initiated two exchanges, and I have yet to receive the final merchandise. My package has been held at the warehouse for over a week. I have requested to cancel the order, but this request has been denied. Despite multiple attempts to seek assistance, I have not received adequate support. At this time, I am formally requesting a full refund.

Don't, Just Don't!
Don't think like I did - that you will be an exception and things will go smoothly. The Wacoal bra that I ordered was defective. The underwire was poking into the side of my breast. When I called Customer Service, the rep said that it was because I needed a bigger cup size, so I ordered a bigger cup size. It came, and the wire was still poking into my breast. At this point, I decided to carefully examine both bras. I saw that the underwire stopped a good inch away from the seam cushion. I called Customer Service again to inform them of this fact. The rep didn't care. She spoke down to me and said that the bra is probably the wrong fit for me - not true! She also said that I could not return the one that I had worn that had caused bruising on the sides of my breasts, so basically this is what my hard-earned money bought from Bare Necessities. Do not order from them, or get pulled into their facade of finding the right fit, and easy returns. It is anything but this. Only order is you want to lose your money if the bra is defective, and deal with impatient reps with snooty attitudes.
My experience was great with Kimberly
My experience was great with Kimberly. She resolved an issue that two other workers wasn’t able to. She was very professional, and I am a satisfied customer because of her.
Thank you, Kimberly!
