Do not trust this site

While there are very interesting pictures on this site, you're liable to get your account closed without notice and for no cause. There is a message indicating there was a problem with a picture you liked or shared but it does not contain the picture in question and the link is disactivated. Quite mysterious!

Great platform ruined

I used to love Pinterest, and I genuinely trusted the platform.

Unfortunately, it now feels like Pinterest has become just another ad-driven platform, very similar to Meta: focused on pushing paid campaigns while small creators are left with declining reach.

My reach used to be strong. Now it has dropped badly, despite me continuing to follow Pinterest’s own guidelines on what to post and how to post.

I was also seriously considering starting a paid campaign, but my experience with Pinterest’s campaign support was unacceptable. For the first scheduled call, the representative simply did not show up. I waited on the video call for 15 minutes, and no one joined. On the second call, someone did show up, only for me to find out that I had been assigned to the wrong person for my region. I was told I would be reassigned, but after three follow-ups and almost three weeks, I am still waiting.

Pinterest puts so much effort into pushing creators and small businesses to start campaigns. The business profile is practically built around encouraging people to spend money on ads. But when someone is actually ready to invest, the support is slow, disorganized, and unprofessional.

It feels disrespectful to the small creators and businesses who helped make the platform valuable in the first place. At this point, it is very difficult to trust Pinterest. You cannot aggressively push people to pay for advertising while failing to provide even basic professional support.

Pinterest hosts numerous fake shops…

Pinterest hosts numerous fake shops that take your money and that's where it ends. It appears to be of no concern that their users are ripped off but I guess that the scammers pay Pinterest so all is fine for Pinterest.

I used to love pinterest

I used to love pinterest. it was my go to site for ideas and recipes. Now, I can't stand it. The ads that CONSTANTLY pop up are so incredibly annoying it's not funny. Not to mention the scam pages on there. I avoid it most of the time now which is pretty sad but it's the truth.

Fraudulent advertising

I have filed a complaint with Pinterest regarding multiple vendors advertising the same product. Pinterest needs to better vet their (sponsored) vendors!
I will not order through ANY vendors advertising through Pinterest!

Pinterest broke me twice

I spent over a year building something beautiful. Real recipes. Real photos. Real love in every pin. My audience grew to nearly a million views a month. People actually used my content. They commented. They thanked me.

And Pinterest didn't care.

They blocked my first blog without a real reason. No warning. No human explanation. Just an automated message that felt like a slap in the face.

So I started over. Bought a new domain. Worked for four more months. Nights. Weekends. Hours of my life I'll never get back. I finally started growing again.

Yesterday, they blocked me again.

I feel sick. I can't sleep. I've wasted over a year of my life on a platform that treats creators like garbage. I followed every rule. I read every guideline. And still — they crushed me without blinking.

The worst part? There's no real person to talk to. No phone number. No email that gets answered. Just bots and automated appeals that go nowhere. I've screamed into a void for months.

My audience loves me. They want my content. But Pinterest doesn't care about love. They care about ads and algorithms and cheap AI garbage pins from accounts that steal other people's work.

I hate their platform. I never fully understood it. Every time I thought I figured it out, they changed something or flagged me for no reason. It's exhausting. It's humiliating. It's made me want to quit cooking forever.

I'm not a spammer. I'm not a bot. I'm just a real person trying to share something good. And Pinterest broke me twice.

Rating: Zero stars. Zero trust. Zero respect.

To anyone reading this: Do not build your dreams on Pinterest. They will tear them down and never tell you why.

If I could rate them 0 I would. I ordered seeds from a website using this platform and I got scammed out of 56$ I have been trying for a month to get my items or my money refunded . I reached out to gardenmelo.com only to get the run around on when my package will be delivered gardenmelo used a fake shipping company to try to tell me my shipment was on the way that was in March now it is April. still nothing!!! I have reached out to pinterest to get resolution and they tell me to send them a copy of link used which I did that in my initial email. I hate getting the run around and I just want my money back. Pinterest has lost a customer and gained a bad review. don't trust anything on this platform and do your research like i should have before sending untrust worthy company your money

Pinterest needs to change their ways

Used to be a really good app before all that open ai bull but what truly bothers me and I think will be the death of this app is the amount of shein & Temu slop, if I wanted to look for their low quality fast fashion I'd use their app not Pinterest. I swear over half the stuff on my feed is just ads and it's impossible now to find stuff I actually like instead of trying to be sold a useless or low quality products, I really do think Pinterest doesn't have much time left and is going to be forgotten if this continues

UNUSABLE

Posting this here because the Playstore doesnt let me ... "server issues" my a**.

Had to uninstall because the ratio of ads/content on the main page made it unusable. Browser+ad blocker makes the main page usable again, but it doesn't solve the search issues.

Search results: too much AI results (even if you've tuned them out in your options). It makes searching for references IMPOSSIBLE.
Oh and since blocking somebody doesn't stop their content from appearing in the search results and your FYP, it's a useless function.

Moderation is all over the place : sometimes it's good, sometimes they do nothing about stuff that OBVIOUSLY break the rules, sometimes they flag stuff for no reason...

Nothing but ads and AI

Nothing but ads and AI. Trying to use the app to help with home renovation but im fed up everytime I go on the app now and fed up of seeing the same repeated content (many of which is AI) the app has lost its original purpose. Hoping something new will come along with better purpose for creatives and those looking for inspiration.

A toxic platform that destroys creators and gaslights its users.

Pinterest has officially hit rock bottom and become an absolutely hostile environment for creators. I create aesthetic book content for teenagers (popular Young Adult and Dark Academia series). These are completely safe, beautiful moodboards and illustrations that inspire people to read.

So, what does Pinterest do? Their broken, paranoid algorithm slaps a complete shadowban on my entire profile. Pins featuring people sitting in pajamas, reading from their phones, aesthetic teacups, and vintage books were suddenly flagged as "sensitive content." Are you serious?!

But the most disgusting part is their so-called "customer support." When I reached out for help, I was met with the most toxic and dismissive attitude imaginable. The moderator (or a bot) simply sent me a condescending, generic copy-paste reply about how important it is for them to "keep Pinterest a positive place."

They explained absolutely nothing to me:
⦁ Is my shadowban lifted?
⦁ Will my new pins even get any reach, or will they go straight into a black hole?
⦁ Is there any point in me continuing to make content for this platform?

Instead of actual answers, I got a brick wall and the hypocritical advice to "continue being inspired and using Pinterest." Let me get this straight: you hide the work I spent hours on from my entire audience, but you expect me to keep generating free traffic for you?

Pinterest has shown its true colors. They do not value content creators. Their support team gaslights users, and their broken AI bans pajamas in the name of "positivity." If you are an artist, designer, or creator—run away from here. You will waste your time and nerves, only to get a spit in the face in the form of an automated reply. The absolute worst service for creative people.

LISTEN to your customer before they all leave the app

Pinterest is one of my favorite apps. It’s the only social media that genuinely feels positive and inspiring. Or it was.
It’s now completely taken over by scam businesses. The same ones, over and over, flooding the feed until there’s barely anything else left. It’s so disappointing because Pinterest clearly isn’t listening. Everyone agrees there are too many ads. Everyone agrees there’s too much AI content. And everyone would willingly pay for an ad free subscription tomorrow.
Nothing has been done.
You have something really special here. Please don’t throw it away.
