Excellent hotel
Excellent hotel, great staff, great food and beautiful building and location. The only thing that criticise and I’m being picky is that you only have the bar to sit in and relax and it’s not very big but overall a great hotel for a couple of nights away.
We stayed in one of the suites and the room was excellent, we also had a meal in the restaurant both nights and this was also excellent.

Great adventure touring the golden…
Great adventure touring the golden triangle in India. Taxi driver was brilliant, guides were knowledgeable and hotels were of a good standard. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that Secret Escapes did not pass on our request for twin beds to the hotels. This also happened with a prior booking. Please rectify this SE!

Customer service lacking
No complaints about itinerary, accommodation, etc but documentation was not received when promised and it did not contain all necessary information. This resulted in a stressful hour at the overseas airport, chasing information regarding car hire.
This was exacerbated by all the initial Customer Service calls being filtered through AI system, then diverted to overseas call centres in, eg South Africa.

Better not happen again!
Hopefully this was an isolated incident?! We’ve used SE many times with great success but to book the same property twice and to receive confirmation in both cases, only to be told by the property that there are no rooms available is very poor. We managed to make alternative arrangements but we should never have been in this position. All we received were full refunds… useful when you’re 200 miles from home with nowhere to stay!

Oatlands Park Hotel allocated us a…
Oatlands Park Hotel allocated us a deluxe room right above the lounge bar & extended terracing right below our window.
Two nights of terrible loud music and partying. One night until 1am another until 3.30-4.00am. After the 1st night we were told there was nothing else during our stay so we stayed put. On the third night a seminar of two coaches of delegates and about 30-40 cars with more delegates arrived. No problem until 22.30pm then the noise was unacceptable until the last people left at 4am.

Mistakes on website
You put incorrect price information on a London hotel deal. It was subsequently cancelled by yourselves 2 days later. Booked train tickets so now no hotel. Would be dubious to book again.

But for Secret Escapes I’d never have discovered this hotel and the deal they had negotiated was exceptionally good value, including dinner each night with food of a high standard.

Hotel was great. Your last message before we departed home gave the wrong dates for the booking and I had to ring the hotel to confirm that I was booked for the days I

Terrible Hotel and not even a 2star experience (Hotel was supposed to be a 4*)
It was a good deal but elements of the package did not happen which was disappointing to say the least!
Its hard for Secret Escapes to say how a Hotel will perform. Secret Escapes itself was easy to book etc.
